Met one of these types today. He was a college kid working at Happy Harry's and when paying for an item I showed him my U.S. Military ID card (15% advertised discount for vets)and he said,
"We're thinking about not honoring this discount in the future." I responded "If that is what THE PEOPLE want." He replied, "That's exactly what the people want." I smiled and told his manager that was ten feet away, "When you do this our family's business goes to the base commissary and to the Super Wal-Mart." I looked at the know-it-all and said,"Comrade, dasbedonya!" His jaw dropped!

Found me a pretty good deal on 230 grain precious metal yesterday at Wall Mart. Prices are getting up there for this stuff but this wasn't too bad at all.

As a NY resident, I agree with you. Time for upstate to ask the legislature to separate into two states. Let NYC and environs, LI Westchester and Rockland be NYC state and the rest of us be NY state.
