Newt Speaks Out About Big Government Stimulus Bill
The Stimiulus bill is a big government, pork-laden spending bill filled with wasteful projects.
In this new video, Newt outlines in stark terms exactly why this bill, as currently written.
Among many other wasteful, non-stimulative projects, it includes $650 million for digital TV coupons, $1 billion for climate satellite and habitat restoration programs, and $600 million to replace a portion of the federal government vehicle fleet.
Wild Thing's comment........
The purpose is to advance socialism mainly among other things. Scrap the bill and don't replace it with more legislation. Let the free market system work itself out.
.... Thank you John for sending this to me.

Ah, all those pesky little details that the Dems don't want to talk about...
And hey, what happened to all that caterwalling about fear-mongering? The Boy King's middle name is Doom and Gloom. It's a catastrophe, I tell ya!! A catastrophe!!

Finally Newt has come aboard. He was playing with the idea that obama would lead from the center, which O'reilly still believes, O'reilly blames Nancy Pisslosi and Reid, when obama is the leader in this charade of 'bailing out the economy.' Obama will lead from the left as he races to weaken America, defensively, fiscally and mentally. This bill will sink us deeper into a recession, but obama will have all of his pieces in place. Then he will reveal his real plan the only way out of this mess, will be socialism.
This whole thing is a setup, to knock down the country to re-build it in obama's perverted image.

Sorry Newt, coming aboard now, why? Riding that third rail must make your crotch mighty sore. There is an old adage in life, you are either part of the solution or part of the problem, it is too late to CYA now that it has been exposed for what it is. We, who once trusted you implicitly, were let down when you betrayed that trust. You and the rest of the GOP were entrusted to bring us from under the FDR oppression and you all folded. You all frittered your power away trying to out Democrat the Democrats. You and all your colleagues established that highbrow Northeast cabal of Rockefeller Republicans and you got your ass waxed in the process, they dumped you under the bus. In my opinion your are a very smart individual but you made your nest with the CFR and the globalists, face time now only greases the skids for your 2012 presidential speculation in the face of Obama's Socialism. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!!!

The Fed needs to realise that their only purpose is to provide Military security and legeslative and judicial reinforcement of Liberty provided in the U.S. Constitution for the Union of these 50 Sovereign States. I'm in pretty much the ONLY Constitutional Federal Agency The U.S. Armed Forces.
P.S. I just found out I Share Birthdays with Newt Gingrich and General Tommy Franks (don't ask I was bored).

232 years ago a Boston Antifederalist wrote:
GENERAL INTRODUCTION: A DANGEROUS PLAN OF BENEFIT ONLY TO THE "ARISTOCRATICK COMBINATION"
… those who have been long wishing to erect an aristocracy in THIS COMMONWEALTH [of Massachusetts]. Their menacing cry is for a RIGID government, it matters little to them of what kind, provided it answers THAT description. As the plan now offered comes something near their wishes, and is the most consonant to their views of any they can hope for, they come boldly forward and DEMAND its adoption. They brand with infamy every man who is not as determined and zealous in its favor as themselves. They cry aloud the whole must be swallowed or none at all, thinking thereby to preclude any amendment; they are afraid of having it abated of its present RIGID aspect. They have strived to overawe or seduce printers to stifle and obstruct a free discussion, and have endeavored to hasten it to a decision before the people can duty reflect upon its properties. In order to deceive them, they incessantly declare that none can discover any defect in the system but bankrupts who wish no government, and officers of the present government who fear to lose a part of their power. These zealous partisans may injure their own cause, and endanger the public tranquility by impeding a proper inquiry; the people may suspect the WHOLE to be a dangerous plan, from such COVERED and DESIGNING schemes to enforce it upon them. Compulsive or treacherous measures to establish any government whatever, will always excite jealousy among a free people: better remain single and alone, than blindly adopt whatever a few individuals shall demand, be they ever so wise. I had rather be a free citizen of the small republic of Massachusetts, than an oppressed subject of the great American empire.
From The Boston Gazette and Country Journal, November 26, 1787.
"The whole must be swallowed or none at all." Big Government champions never change. I'm an Antifederalist and proud of it.

It is being reported that there is a Senate agreement for a $780M non-Stimulus 'Stimulus' Bill. It requires a vote by Ted Kennedy who has been in Florida dealing with his brain tumor. This rushed Senate version after being reconciled with the House Bill next week will be as ineffective and ill-conceived as the scare tactic $700B TARP bailout disaster of last year.
Any Republican that provides 'bipartisan' cover to Obama and the Dems for this giant budget step to Socialism deserves to be ostracized and denied reelection.

Yankeemom, it is that for sure. Love how you said that.

Mark, yes that is what I thought too.
This is sooooo true this is just what is happening.

Jack, I agree! Newt has crossed the line a lot this last year and I am sick of it. He comes in at the tail end. This is one of those the clock is right twice a day kind of things from him. He said good stuff and I will give him credit for it. But I am not giving him a hug of thank you or letting him off the hook of his turning rino.
Last week I did a comment to him at an article he wrote and I really laid into him. I let him know I was sick of his becoming a rino. I still feel the same way. But when he does say something that is ok I will give him a tiny break.
