Communist Hanoi Jane Releasing " FTA " Documentary Film

Jane Fonda & Donald Sutherland. as they toured outside military bases from Guam

.

New York Post

An old skeleton has emerged from Jane Fonda's closet to remind us of her traitorous embrace of the North Vietnamese, which got her dubbed "Hanoi Jane." Docudrama Films is re leasing on DVD a long-suppressed documentary called "FTA," a k a "F*** the Army,(and the Navy and the Marines)" which chroni cles the anti-war shows Fonda staged in front of GIs.
The flick opened in theaters in 1972 the same week she flew to Hanoi and encouraged the Vietnamese com munists to fight "American impe rialists." It was yanked days later and withdrawn from circulation, and the late director Francine Par ker blamed pressure from the Nixon White House.

Rare Screening of Restored Archival Print of
Classic Vietnam War-Era Documentary
FTA
With Former FTA Cast Member
Jane Fonda in Person
Monday, February 2 at 7:00pm and 9:15pm
7:00pm show sold out!

FTA (1972, Francine Parker), the Vietnam War-era documentary, will have an ultra-rare screening in a restored archival print with former FTA cast member Jane Fonda in person, Monday, February 2 at 7:00pm and 9:15pm; the 7:00pm show is sold out. Following the screening, Ms. Fonda will talk about the film and her work in the controversial antiwar touring show in a discussion moderated by David Zeiger, director of the recent documentary Sir! No Sir! A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit Iraq Veterans against the War, a nonprofit organization that advocates for ending the war and for providing support to returning service members.
Virtually unseen in any format since a brief theatrical run in 1972, FTA documents "the show the Pentagon couldn't stop." The revue, whose letters were said to stand both for Free Theater Associates and also Free (or, at times, another F-word) The Army, brought antiwar entertainment to military personnel at the height of Vietnam. Performers like Ms. Fonda, Donald Sutherland and Holly Near toured towns near military bases around the US and overseas, lending their support to troops who opposed the war. The film follows the troupe as it travels and performs near US military bases on the Pacific Rim -- Hawaii, Okinawa, the Philippines -- encouraging opposition to the war among the rank-and-file of US forces.
FTA is a gritty mix of rollicking performances and GI interviews, juxtaposing lighthearted political satire with the somber realities of war, occupation, and the absurdities of military life, a barbed rebuke to the staid USO program. From Okinawa to the Philippines, stirred by the show's provocative message, the members of the U.S. military find courage to speak out candidly in front of the camera.
Fonda and Sutherland are joined on stage by an all-star cast of musicians and activists including folk musician Len Chandler and comedian Paul Mooney. A fresh look at the Vietnam anti-war movement through the songs and skits that shook a generation, this film will leave you singing along with the fired-up men and women of the military. Foxtrot, Tango, Alpha... F*** the Army!

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:

"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

Winter Soldier Timeline

January, 1971: Jane Fonda raises funds for the Winter Soldier Investigation through a series of benefit concerts. Participants include Fonda, Dick Gregory, Donald Sutherland, Graham Nash, David Crosby and Phil Ochs. Fonda is named Honorary National Coordinator of the event.

February 16, 1971: Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland form “FTA” (F*** The Army), an anti-war, anti-American road show that tours near Army bases in order to undermine troop morale. Skits and songs portray American defeats, soldiers refusing to fight, and the murder of officers by their troops. FTA cast members mingle with soldiers after the shows, encouraging them to desert or to sabotage the Army.

December 1971 Fonda made the following statement at the University of Texas:

"We've got to establish a Socialist economic structure that will limit private profit-oriented businesses. Whether the transition is peaceful depends on the way our present governmental leaders react. We must commit our lives to this transition ...... We should be very proud of our new breed of soldier. It's not organized but it's mutiny, and they have every right." --Karen Elliott Dallas Morning News December 11, 1971

In 1972 Hanooi Jane went to North Vietnam for a photo shoot. What a great way to use your "celebrity" and further your cause by posing for communist propoganda photos.
That wasn't enough.
In August she broadcast at least 10 speaches to US service personal stationed in South East Asia via Radio Hanoi spewing rhetoric about wiping out illiteracy and prostitution in Veitnam and calling them war criminals. She coments on American plays being performed at the Temple Of Literature in North Vietnam. Did she even wonder at any time that the North Vietnamese might have staged that? She wants Nixon to read the poetry of Ho Chi Minh. While American soldiers were fighting and dying in the Vietnam War, this is how Jane was using her money and influence. Upon her return she tells the world press that the American POWs were being well treated and not tortured.
Still not enough.
As the American POWs returned home in 1973, they spoke out about the inhumane treatment and torture they had suffered as prisoners of war. Their stories directly contradicted Janes earlier statements of 1972. She told The New York Times "These were not men who had been tortured. These were not men who had been starved. These were not men who had been brainwashed." "I think that one of the only ways that we are going to redeem ourselves as a country for what we have done there is not to hail the POWs as heroes, because they are hypocrites and liars ... History will judge them severely."
Still not enough?

In 1975, Hanoi Jane went to Moscow, thanking them "for sending assistance which the Soviet people are sending to Vietnam"
Enough?

Then she traveled back to North Vietnam with her son Troy for a celebration in her honor for her help during the war. During the celebration her son was christened after a Viet Cong martyr Nguyen Van Troi who tried to assassinate Robert Macnimara with a roadside bomb near Saigon in 1963.

Wild Thing's comment..........

Let's see B.Hussein Obama wins an election even though one of his long time friends and associations is Bill Ayers ( terrorist/anti-war activist etc.), and Hanoi Jane was one of Obama supporters in this election has an old film being revived again. Communists for Obama one of their own has given them a new surge.

Hanoi Jane could stop this film being shown if she wanted to. But no way does she want to do that. Why should she I am sure she is thinking when her man in the White House has friends like Bill Ayers one of her own. These people breath the air of Freedom, and have done all they can to fight and destroy those that have fought to make it possible for all of us.

America used to excute traitors to our country, people that committed treason. The last time that I can find they did this was in 1953 a husband and wife the Rosenbergs.

I wonder why we stopped excution for people that do things and say things like Hanoi Jane, John Kerry, and all the others that aided the enemy, put our soldiers lives in even more danger and caused our POW's to be tortured even worse then they already were. I just don't understand and I guess I never will.

As some of you know years ago I had an opportunity to tell Hanoi Jane off and I took it. I posted it here at Theodore's World back in March of 2006.

Hanoi Jane Encounter

I have put the text of it below where it says.....Continue reading............

I received an email asking me how I felt about posting about Hanoi Jane. I told her I would do a post about it in case anyone else was curious. She wondered why I " bothered" as she put it.

America has way too much apathy, way too much tolerance for traitors. They are not punished, they are even admired by some of the low life in our country. Remember the week that Gore was in Saudi Arabia with Clinton and others and sounded off on America. Committing treason as far as I am concerned. The same week Cheney had the shooting accident. We never heard the media about Gore, I only knew about it because of being online. But Cheney was bombarded on every network, every channel, every news and political talk show on TV. You would have thought he had been gunning for someone, tracking the person and then killing him.

It is like America is upside down or something.

During the Vietnam War it sickened me and angered me beyond words how I felt about Hanoi Jane, Donald Sutherland,Gregory Peck and others how they were traitors to not only America but our troops. I swore I would never let up on what they did, never stop telling the world just how vile they were and are, and how they should be punished.

One of the times I came back from Vietnam, some friends of mine, Vietnam Veterans that had just gotten back from Nam told me how they had driven their motorcycles up the coast of California and put the Hanoi Jane stickers in the urinals in the bathrooms at gas stations along the way. We all had a good laugh and I complimented them on what a great idea it was.

One of the trips back home Bob Hope and I were standing outside a building where we had just had a meeting to talk about a trip coming up and a man walked right up to Bob Hope and spit in his face. It landed on his collar bone. Bob Hope stood there and told the guy, " that's not enough nerve to enlist, you have to be a man." The guy ran off.

Year later, in the early 80's I was leaving the gym I went to and Hanoi Jane was standing outside talking to someone. I wondered why the heck she was there. This gym I went to was Gold's Gym in Venice, you know the bodybuilding Mecca gym. She had a workout place in Beverly Hills, called Jane Fonda's Workout.

I stood by the door of the gym till the person she was talking to walked away. Then I walked right up to her with a purpose in my steps. I am 5'11 and Hanoi Jane is 5'7". So I had 4 inches on her, I got as close as I could, so she could feel my breath on her. I stood as tall as I could, you know when you stand there and really stretch out your back, perfect posture etc.? Yep that is what I did, wishing right then that I was taller then 5'11 just this one time in my life.

Hanoi Jane:She looked up and asked," You're a tall girl, do you want something?"

Wild Thing: Yes, Jane I need to tell you something. I have a message for you from over 2,000,000 Americans that served in uniform in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

Hanoi Jane: You have a lot of nerve!

Wild Thing: Yes I do, these 2 million have my six and that is my ass, my back in case you do not know. They are very pissed off at you. And so am I, so I have to let you know from them and myself that we don't think you are a traitor, we KNOW you are.
And from me to you I will never forgive you for what you did, for the actions you took and for the words you spoke. You will take those things to hell when you die. But not only that, you will take the responsibility of the deaths you caused, the beatings and treatment you caused our troops by the enemy with you as well. Every drop of blood, every bead of sweat, every pain in their limbs and bodies that you caused them to be tortured and maimed. Every broken heart, every lost loved one left behind.

Hanoi Jane: ( interrupting) you do have guts I will give you that. I am not embarrassed by what I did, nor sorry. I believed in what I did then and still do today. You are wrong and Americans were murderers. You are condoning their murder as I see it.

Wild Thing: No, but I would condone your being punished for treason. Have you ever heard of the Rosenberg's? They were executed in 1938 for treason. Am I getting warm here in you knowing how I think you should be punished?

Hanoi Jane: she nodded and stayed silent

Wild Thing: Good then I will just end this conversation with this. You use this country, you use our military Jane. You use the freedoms that you have as if it cost nothing. You and your ilk are not why this is the land of the free. You and your ilk are not why our military and all the way back to our forefathers went through what they did to make sure we have the greatest Nation in the world. We were not defeated in the Vietnam War Jane, our troops won that war. It was our politicians, the lying media, and the communists in our country that lost the war, the cowards and the enemy of America that walk our streets like you.
You will never understand, I know this. This was a meeting in time that had to be,not for you, but for my Vietnam Veterans, and for me to tell you just what I think of you.
The courage, determination, camaraderie, selflessness they own and you never will. They are America's heroes something you will never understand. I despise you Jane you are not worth one gasp of air that you breath. I hope we never run into each other again. But these things needed to be said to your face, up close and personal.

After this I went home, I was shaking a little not because of meeting her but because I was so angry. Nick said to write it down as best I could so I would not forget what I said but also what she said. So I did and saved it.

Having a blog is also an excellent way of keeping track of things happening in the world. News and information of all kinds of things. Anything I post about Hanoi Jane will always be listed in my sidebar under Traitors To America.

There are also some pages at my personal website that mention Hanoi Jane, so Melinda maybe you would like to check them out as well. Read the posts here on this blog too, posts made by Veterans that walk the walk.Men, real men every one of them, and each one that you should feel honored to be in their presence. If you do then you will never again say or think why bother.

I wonder if Obama will appoint traitor Jane to an ambassadorship?

Commie Uncle Joe 'Steel' Stalin blockaded Ukraine in 1933 and starved the population...Children were eating the bark off of the trees...Tens of millions starved to death and he wound up killing millions more than Adolf Hitler did in his 'Final Solution!'
Henry Fonda must have died so sorrowfully...
Waterboarding communist Hanoi Jane would be a pleasure! - Barbarella 1968 / 2009

Posted by: darthcrUSAderworldtour07 at February 13, 2009 07:56 AM

Waterbaording would be fun darth but we must add additional tortures and make it last as long as possible so that in her dying moments she feels the pain she has caused to so many.

Death for her, while highly desired, is too good for her. She should be made to suffer more than anyone else. A couple of old indian methods come to mind......skinning her alive.......staking her to an ant hill full of angry flesh eating ants!!!!!

LMAO!!! Sorry - just went to the "World Cannot Wait" website that WT posted which opens to their 7-13-06 page. This is one of their stupid comments:

"There is not going to be some savior from the Democratic Party. This whole idea of putting our hopes and energies into "leaders" who tell us to seek common ground with fascists and religious fanatics is proving every day to be a disaster, and actually serves to demobilize people."

And yet these same fu**ing idiots now call "O" their "Messiah", their "Savior"!!! And don't you just love their comments about "hopes" being a disaster?!?!?! LMFAO

God - grant me the strength to remain strong while I am surrounded by so many idiots and morons!!!!!

She has never had to feel the sting of punishment for her actions--she has never had to own up to her own accountability, nor have any of the dipsticks who go against this nation. They know people will still go see their movies or buy their albums, so what's the use? When the Beatles said they were bigger than Christ, there was Hell to pay, but not anymore.
They forget that we have a voice too, it's just not the voice they want to hear right now. The voice of freedom is with us, not them.
Time to make some noise! Bang the drums and sound the trumpets because we are comin' through! We WILL NOT be stopped!

Posted by: Lynn at February 13, 2009 12:03 PM

She says , FTA, I say F#ck Fonda, I am tired of this shit. Time to lock and load.

Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. WE ARE THE SAVIORS OF MY LIFE.

So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

I've had it with these assholes for the past 42 years, we have been spit on, lied to , thrown under the bus 'FT' it's time to start fighting back.

The World Can't Wait list. What a bunch of detestable idiots. That list should be deported to the socialist paradise of their choice, Cuba, Iran, N. Korea, Liberia.

Hanoi Jane and Hanoi John are two of the sorriest excuses to ever breathe fresh air. They preach socialism and Marxism for ordinary people while they both live in the lap of luxury. No sacrifice on their part.

Posted by: TomR at February 13, 2009 12:09 PM

Tom Morello and Serj Tankian, two hypocritical socialist butt-buddies (Tom Morello, Lead Guitarist for Rage Against The Machine and Serj Tankian, Lead Singer for System Of A Down) RATM songs such as "Killing in the Name" and "Bullet in the Head" do nothing but to indict Americans, The Military, Police Officers, etc. as racists and murderers and some of System's songs such as "B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Bombs)" claim The United States is in Iraq simply for oil and economic gain while sacrificing the "poor and brainwashed children" in the Military. They're a bunch of idiots who spout radical anti-americanism on the basis for being against "inequality" with their so called "axis of justice."

"has never had to feel the sting of punishment for her actions"

Your right too that we have a voice too and we are good at using our voices to speak out about things.

Montana Restaurant:

This is a great story! The radio station America FM
was doing one of its 'Is Anyone Listening?' bits
this morning. The first question was, 'Ever have a
celebrity come up with the 'Do you know who I am?'
routine?'

A woman called in and said that a few years a go,
while visiting her cattle rancher uncle in Billings , MT,
she had occasion to go to dinner at a restaurant that does
not take reservations. The wait was about 45 minutes; many
ranchers and their wives were waiting.

Ted Turner and his ex-wife Jane Fonda came in the
restaurant and wanted a table. The hostess informed them
that they'd have to wait 45 minutes. Jane Fonda asked
the hostess, 'Do you know who I am?' The hostess
answered, 'Yes, but you'll have to wait 45
minutes.' Then Jane asked if the manager was in. When
the manager came out, he asked, 'May I help you?'
'Do you know who we are?' both Ted and Jane asked.
'Yes, but these folks have been waiting, and I can't
put you ahead of them.'

Then Ted asked to speak to the owner. The owner came
out, and Jane again asked, 'Do you know who I am?'
The owner answered, 'Yes, I do. Do you know who I am?
I am the owner of this restaurant and I am aVietnam
Veteran. Not only will you not get a table ahead of my
friends and neighbors who have been waiting here, but you
also will not be eating in my restaurant tonight or any
other night. Good bye.'

Only in America , is this a great country or what?

To all who received this, this is a true story and
the name of the steak house is:

Sir Scott's Oasis Steakhouse, 204 W. Main,
Manhattan , MT 59741 , (406) 284-6929

If you ever get there, give this fellow a sharp
salute, buy a steak, and tip the waitress. Keep passing
this on. We should never forget our national traitor!

Put a Hanoi Jane sticker in every public urinal and an Obama sticker in every commode.

Semper Fi my brothers and sisters, Happy Valentines Day all.
