B. Hussein Obama Warned Republicans ~ Quit Listening To Limbaugh!
WASHINGTON
President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.
One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.
"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."
That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.
In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: "I won," according to aides briefed on the meeting.
"I will trump you on that."
Not that Obama was gloating. He was just explaining that he aims to get his way on stimulus package and all other legislation, sources said, noting his unrivaled one-party control of both congressional chambers.
"We are experiencing an unprecedented economic crisis that has to be dealt with and dealt with rapidly," Obama said during the meeting.
Republicans say the $825 billion price tag is too big a burden for a nation crippled by debt and that it doesn't do enough to stimulate the economy by cutting taxes.

What a total jerk Obama is, my gosh, and what nerve he has! Obama with no legit birth certificate, will learn quickly that certain things he thinks he can do and say will backfire. Will he care, no, but he has not experienced the wrath of conservatives, not yet. We have blogs, website, Facebook and MySpace. We wirte letters, fax and make phone callls and we fight back. We are the ones that support our troops more then anyone else, I truly believe that. We are the activists, the problem solvers and apathy is not part of our DNA. So just keep it up HO-bama, keep talking. hahahaha You have much to learn.
What’s the ONE THING that people say about him, I mean something that even people interviewing about him 20 years ago say “He was arrogant”. That’s not a good thing to be.
He better not mess with Limbaugh! Nicholas and I have listened to Rush Limbaugh since his very first day with EIB August of 1988. The reason I remember the first day is because we were driving from Georgetown to New York to visit Nick's family. He was working on a movie with Gene Hackman in Georgetown and he had two days off so we thought it would be nice to go see his parents.
We put the radio on and Rush had just started his show. It was a great show and we have never been disappointed.
So Obama is now a dictator, to the citizens of America, to Israel and what they should do, to Republicans that have been elected and even to the media now that is slowly getting ticked at his keeping them from interviews and photo journalists being kept out of his signing his Exe. Orders etc.

Yeah, I totally agree. Everything was working great under President Bush and Republican rule. I liked the path the country was on. Lets all stick together and fight the Dems for our kids and grandkids and Rush's sake.

Nobody is listening to US! NOBODY--there are a handful of Congressmen and Senators that do still have our best interest at heart but that is not either party as a whole. As far as Rush goes, he is a private citizen with a business. Rush is not a journalist he is an entertainer of sorts--A century and a half ago Mark Twain gave stage presentations and about 75 years ago Wil Rogers did the same thing. We so rarely hear the unabashed "truth" that is somehow becomes entertaining, or maybe having been lied to so often and publically berated for using Faith and morals as a compass for life that hearing someone that has much the same thought process makes the day a little easier.
In any case Rush never claims to be a journalist yet the Senate under Reid took it upon themselves to twist and choose words to lie about a private citizen and to try to get him fired...the GOVERNMENT did that...they did THAT to a private citizen with a public persona so just imagine what they would do to folks like you and me.
The Lord's Prayer is 66 words, the Gettysburg Address is 286 words, there are 1,322 words in the Declaration of Independence, but government regulations on the sale of cabbage total 26,911 words. There is a truth in there somewhere and I will allow you the opportunity to rip into it.

Well they want to bring back the 'fairness doctrine' and call it free and balanced speech. When all it is is censorship. They call it free only when we agree with them.

sierrahome, exactly and Reid too has always had it in for Rush. LOL Funny in a way how their hate for him is also out of jealousy. They could not get anyone on their side to be as successful at the kind of thing Rush does.
