Obama Sets Up National Network: "Organizing for America"
Obama sets up national network to help policy agenda
The network, Organizing for America, will be a tool to press for policy. It reportedly will have an annual budget of $75 million, making it an unprecedented standing political army for a president.
Telling millions of campaign supporters that "what you built can't stop now," President-elect Barack Obama today took his first public steps toward transforming his massive grass-roots political machinery into an unprecedented national network to help pass his policy agenda.
Obama is calling the new network Organizing for America, and while he described it as a tool to press for policies such as fixing the healthcare system, ending the Iraq war and finding new energy sources, he also said the effort would be housed in a distinctly partisan place: the Democratic National Committee.
That means the organization, as it grows, will be well positioned to form the structure of his reelection campaign in four years while also bolstering campaigns of Obama-friendly Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections and putting pressure on those in his party who do not agree with him.

This is Organizing to make sure of a permanent Dem control of America. Obama is a Chicago hack politician. He may be in charge but he is not omnipotent.

Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. Organizing? Since when does my life need organizing? Since when does America need organizing. Sounds to me like he's going with the socialism that we conservatives told our more liberal acquaintances would happen and they pooh-poohed us like we were full of baloney! Well, what do they think now? Healthcare cannot be socialized. It would ruin healthcare in this nation. Is the government willing to pay out through the nose for malpractice suits? Malpractice insurance for doctors and nurses is exceedingly expensive. Socializing healthcare will bring salaries down and then we won't get good doctors. They will be run of the mill idiots. God, I'm sorry, but I cannot stand this man!

Let's try and keep ROTC off of school campuses which is voluntary and force service into the Obamajugend. Remember the pathetic remake of The Dirty Dozen in the 80's? An Obama type played a Nazi soldier? Hmmmmmmm? Where's the Aryan look? Obama is not an Afro-American. He is an Afro-Caucasion. For the last time, zebras, penguins and pandas are not black! Am I missing something here?

He also probably hates the Boy Souts. The Boy Scouts Can Kick the @$$ of these pathetic group of kids. In Scouts you're taught everything from wilderness survival (why do you think that a 12 year old scout gets lost in the wilderness and they find him alive? That's not coincidence) to Stohgun and Rifle shooting. These Merit Badges that everyone makes fun of not only give a Scout an idea as to what his hobbies are they also sort of help you find your interests for your future career. Plus we do a whole lot more volunteer service than most volunteer groups.
Yes, I was in the Boy Souts of America. I'm an Eagle Scout. That is the Highest attainable Rank, and it's something only 4% of Scouts have ever achieved scince 1910 when the Boy Scouts of America were formed. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just merely trying to explain that The Rank of Eagle is one of the Hardest things to obtain in Scouts.

Obama's rise to power has been too rapid, too dramatic to be a total happenstance. I think some powerful and wealthy people in America and around the World had a plan and a man. The credit bubble bursting when it did was too convienent
Too many Americans have become entranced by unnecessary trivia and aren't paying attention to what is really happening. Individuals rights are demanded, but individual reponsibility is deferred. This selfish attitude has played right into the hands of the man who has promised them everything for nothing.
