Megyn Kelly At The CIC Ball in USA and Our Troops In Kabul

Megyn, was at the CIC Ball, and is reporting the military people had told her just earlier that Bush was a great friend of the military, they really liked him and would miss him.

And this from US camp Phoenix base in Kabul, Afghanistan on Tuesday Jan. 20, 2009

US soldiers stand, as they watch a television broadcast live from Washington, showing the inauguration of Barack Obama.

Wild Thing's comment.........

Extra prayers for our troops!! It is a sad day for America to have Obama as CIC and President. I pray God will forgive our nation and have mercy on us.

I have heard from some in the military and they are not happy about this, at one of the military family forums I go to. One used the word devastated.

Joe Biden was a joke at the CIC Ball last night. What a clown and his Mr. Ed smile blinds me... "Wilburrrrrr." Seeing these clowns TRY TO PROPERLY SALUTE and TRYING TO PLACE THEIR 'RIGHT' HANDS OVER THEIR HEARTS during pass and review was pathetic... Notice I didn't say VP because of the hatred by the left over 8 years towards a GREAT patriot - VP Dick Cheney! And 9 out of the 10 Inaugural Balls were not sold out and tickets were reduced to $150 a piece at 6 p.m. last night! - NO CINDERELLA 2009?

The military somehow survived Carter, survived Clinton(s). Now comes a big test. Obama and his Democrat Congress can basically destroy the US military through misuse and monetary cuts. There is little oppositon to prevent this.

A liberally stacked SCOTUS can also change the laws, overturn Posse Comitus and turn the military into a personal police force for the president.

Tom has voiced my greatest concern.

Led by an asshole that can't even repeat the most important 5 word sentence of his life in front of Chief Justice John Roberts. I'm beyond embarrassment for the nation before the world, but again we've become just another turd world entity.

I also wonder how many of those up for reenlistment today will pull the plug rather than serve under an abuser in an abusive administration.

How many potential enlistees will simply not sign up?

Some now serving can't do anything because of their current obligations, but it has to weigh heavily on their minds as they near ETS. The potential of their being used to suppress and remove the Constitutional freedoms they all swore protect and uphold.

They all saw what happened to Lt. Ilario G. Pantano, Lt. Col. Jeffrey R. Chessani, Capt. Randy W. Stone, Capt. Lucas McConnell, 1st Lt. Andrew A. Grayson, Sgt. Sanick P. Dela Cruz, Lance Cpl. Justin Sharratt, Lance Cpl. Stephen B. Tatum and Staff Sergeant Frank D. Wuterich. All slimed and maligned by Rep. John Murtha and by politically motivated U.S. Marine Corps Lawyers. Horseshit ROE's now and in the past that kill an maim our young.

Decisions that put them in the position of being cannon fodder only, damned if they protect their own and damned if they don't, where the word of terrorists carries more weight than that of the ones fighting for their own survival.

Then there is the Johnny Sutton persecution of Border Patrol Agent Ignacio Ramos and Border Patrol Agent Jose Alonso Compean plus Sheriff’s Deputy Guillermo Hernandez all being held as political prisoners in the American Gulag. Disgraceful at best.

In a move that still confuses Ramos and Compean and most law abiding Americans, the U.S. government filed charges against them after giving full immunity to Aldrete-Davila the drug smuggler and paying for his medical treatment at an El Paso hospital, Johnny Sutton was nominated by President George W. Bush to serve as United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas, the phony Bush pardon under public pressure that commutes Ramos and Compean sentences but leaves them as felons without their rights is disgusting.
This is a travesty to all who serve the nation, I have told both grandsons of enlistment age that I'll support their decision to serve but I wont force them or urge them to to decide.

They will be serving a nation that reviles and hates the military and by and large is unsupported by military leaders that don't have the gumption to stand up for those who serve beneath them.

It's the lefties turn to serve in that barrel!!!

Candidate Barack Obama promised that, if elected, he would cut the military budget by 25%. Let's see how the new CIC explains this to the troops.

Darth, thanks, I also heard Obama and his wife never bothered to show up at this one. They went to many others but ignored the one with our troops. Better for our troops that's for sure.

Tom, what you said is so huge a concern. And it could happen fast too.

Jack, oh man oh man, all of that just made me feel so totally sick, but you are so right.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 21, 2009 07:32 PM

Les, yes let's see how the Col. and Generals explain it to their men taking gunfire and not enough equipment to fight a war. sheesh..

Thanks Les.

Late post but wanted to get my 2 cents in!!! LOL

I will alwyas cherish the days I served in the military.....some of the best years of my life. I used to believe that every American male ought to have to serve at least 2 years in the military so they would learn responsibility, dignity, and leadership skills. But now I wouldn't advise anyone to join while they have a CIC and government that disgraces them at every turn and even turns their backs on these fine brave young men and women in their hour of need.

I have faith that these same men and women that put their lives on the line for us and fight for our Freedom would turn on this present government and refuse to fight their own people.

And did anyone else notice, not only in these pictures, but in the live coverage of the inauguration parade that when O's limo went by the military personnel lined along the streets, that many of them, although required to salute this POS, lowered their heads slightly so they didn't have to look at him? I was impressed!!!! Just goes to show what they think of him!!!!
