Hamas Reinstates Crucifixions of Christians

While the world focused on Hamas militants launching rockets from Gaza at southern Israel, the terrorist organization also voted quietly to implement Islamic law in the Gaza Strip, including crucifixion of Christians, according to reports in the Arabic press.
The traditional Muslim criminal code, known as Sharia law, includes penalties such as amputation of limbs for stealing and the death penalty, including crucifixion, for actions Hamas deems detrimental to “Palestinian interests,” including collaborating with Israel.
The new law was reported on the Al-Arabiya Web site and in the London-based Saudi-owned newspaper Al-Hayat, which wrote that the implementation of Sharia law has “brought criticism and concern from human rights organizations in the Gaza Strip.”
But the media scarcely took notice when the decision was reported during the Christian holidays as fighting between Hamas and Israel escalated in late December.
“Hamas’ endorsement of nailing enemies of Islam to crosses came at the same time it renewed its jihad,” Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick wrote on Dec. 26. “Here, too, Hamas wanted to make sure that Christians didn’t feel neglected as its fighters launched missiles at Jewish day care centers and schools.”
Christians are a minority in Gaza, numbering fewer than 2,000 residents among 1.6 million in the Strip. After Hamas came to power, the Islamic group began enforcing sharia law more strictly, though not officially. Christians were the first to feel the squeeze. Some Christian men felt compelled to grow beards and women donned head scarves to downplay their identities as non-Muslims.
Sharia law is implemented fully in some nations, including Iran and Saudi Arabia.
When Palestinian voters elected Hamas in 2006, organization spokesman Hamed Bitawi declared: “The Quran is our constitution, Muhammad is our prophet, jihad is our path, and dying as martyrs for the sake of Allah is our biggest wish.”
Palestinian officials in Gaza denied the adoption of Islamic law. However, Palestinian Media Watch, an organization that monitors the Arab press, says the group is lying.
“Contrary to today’s denials, official Hamas leaders have proudly announced in the Hamas-run media in the last two months that this Islamic penal code was being prepared,” the media watchdog said. “Indeed, senior Hamas leaders went so far as to say that when these laws are implemented, they will have force not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank.”
Media Watch also noted that Hamas newspaper Al-Rissala reported, “The Bureau of Islamic Law is preparing a penal code in order to implement Sharia-Islamic Law.”
Hamas has financial backing from Iran, which supplies the group with rockets and weapons used to attack Israel. Despite espousing separate branches of Islam — Hamas is Sunni; Iran is Shiite — the organization shares the expressed wish of Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to wipe out Israel. The Hamas charter states: “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
Israel withdrew unilaterally, both residents and soldiers, from the Gaza Strip in 2005, leaving the territory entirely under Palestinian jurisdiction. Then, in a coup in 2007, Hamas took over the Gaza Strip, ousting its rival party Fatah and assassinating Fatah loyalists. Since then, rocket fire launched at Israel’s southern communities increased. In December, a six-month period of calm collapsed and led to Israel’s Operation Cast Lead, the bombings and attacks against Hamas militants in Gaza in retaliation for bombings of Israel.

The Middle East is a powder keg and the fuse is extremely short. With Obama about to become #44, Israel is in deep trouble. Every power-hungry slime country over there is going to test the Big "O" and he doesn't have a clue. Add to that, incompetent scum like Jimmy Carter think that Hamas is his buddy. Wonder how he will feel when they string his sorry ass up on a cross!!!!
My heart goes out to Israel....they are going to be left holding the bag before this is all over. And the UN, which is a complete joke, is leading the way by demanding that Israel implement an immediate cease fire. But you don't see the UN sending troops in there to help stabilize the area!!!! They are all talk and no action.
I admire Israel's tenacity though. They don't back down for anyone which the Hamas is finding out. As soon as they get done with these guys, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take on Iran so that country can't expand on their nuclear capabilities.
I'm sure the Big "O" will be making a trip over there soon after 1-20-09 to sit down and try to convince Hamas and Israel that they should be good neighbors and stop their fighting. Of course he will need to take "Jimmy" along for support. Or maybe he will take both "Jimmy" and Bill!!! Wow....all three on a cross at the same time!!!!!

BobF does not understand that these people are already messing with him. They censor his entertainment and his education through pressure brought on the large publishing companies. The cable companies like Comcast air "public access" programs made with Arab oil money that are as clearly lies as Hitler's news reels were. Universities who have links to Arab nations are also reshaping the law. While Oman or Dubai are not the worst of the Muslim nations by any degree what we give to them today, we may face in a generation.
Bush spent too much time with Arabs when his dad was in the oil business. He should have demanded reforms after 9/11 and made the secular leaders understand that their survival depended on making them. Between Bush and now Obama, Arab nations may have the idea that they can continue to get away with Muslim behavior. Driving the birth of the United States in part was the need to raise a navy to put down Muslim pirates, like the Somali. Our first wars were with Muslim in the Med. The may not understand that there are things which could cause us to kill them all.

This is just one more reality of The Religion of Peace persecuting not just Jews and Israel, but Christians and other infidels as well. Just look at how the Muslims treat (or more accurately, mistreat) Christians in Bethlehem. Hamas, Hezbollah, PLO, Al Qaeda, and all the other Muslim groups are just Islamofascist terrorists and savages and have no place in a civilized world. Christian and Jewish infidels are in the same boat as far as the Islamic Caliphate is concerned.
The fact that Barack Hussein Obama won't call Hamas (a terrorist organization) a terrorist organization and deal with it accordingly is a bad sign for Israel but an even worse sign for the United States. Our BOGUS POTUS thinks that he can sit down, talk, and negotiate with terrorists and their terrorist sponsoring nations as equals and mesmerize them with his narcissistic and messianic charm so that we can all live together in peace. What a load of cumbaya horse shit.

We did black ops airlift missions (1894-1997)and sanitized our uniforms and signed statements not to talk about thses deals for 20 years .... now I can. The only 'FIGHTERS' and 'WARRIORS' that have my respects - that go ALL F'N OUT - without rules of NON-ENGAGEMENT are the French Legionaires and Israeli commandos! These bad *sses are ruthless and second to none. Their dog leashes haven't any length - period!! You are correct darth, when I was a young infantryman in Vietnam pulling bunker duty on the perimeter of our base camp, we were told specifically not to fire our .50's without permission from the CG. The one exception was if the bad guys were in the last strand of wire. Same in the bush, if we were fired on from a village that wasn't in a free fire zone, we had to get permission to waste the village. By the time we got any response from HQ, charlie had slid back into his hole and was long gone. WHY OH WHY DO WE NEVER LEARN? OK let me answer that. American's are IGNORANT............period!

Les, I agree, when our so called leaders can't even refer to these terrorists for what they are and they try to soften the names for them....it is only a tiny beginning as to how weak they will want to respond to their destruction and attacks.
There are no moderate muslims and there is nothing peaceful about Islam, nothing.
