Democrats Use The Word Democracy But They Are Wrong

The American Form of Government

An explanation of the various forms of government and political systems, and why America is not a democracy, but a republic.

The difference between a Democracy and a Republic something so many seem to have forgotten. And the lefties LOVE to use the word, acting like they don't know the difference. I honeslty think they are doing it on purpopse because they want it to be a democracy and NOT a Repuiblic. Never trust a democrat!

Watch this video and then get the word out to as many people as necessary. This is something all school age children should see. I've watched it half a dozen times already trying to memorize some of it.

Very good simple explanations of the different forms of government. Yes this should be seen in school. Instead so called "educators" worry about marking grades in red because it may hurt someone's feelings. I posted this and linked back with a thank you.

"Democracy is nothing more than two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner; Liberty is a Well Armed lamb opposing the decision." Benjamin Franklin.

I remember when I was in high school government class, the teacher asked the class if anyone thought we lived in a democracy. I said no and that I was opposed to a democracy including why I was. The class' reaction was as if I was satan himself. Thank God my teacher helped make my argument by holding a vote on a fictitious issue. He then told the class that if the vote was actually real, the minority would have no rights. The class didn't think that was fair. He said "That's why we're a Republic." In his class if you had an opinion he would debate it with you in class. He wouldn't make fun of you, he wouldn't throw you out of class, and he wouldn't fail you. You did however have to have a valid argument to back your claim. He was actually a very good teacher.

Thanks Chrissie. I watched this and am sending it out to a lot of people. I often use democracy when I mean republic. This video sets the definitions straight.

Tom, I know exactly what you mean, I have been hearing it so much I started to say it and when I saw this video and how it explains it so clearly I was so glad. I saw it several times just trying to memorize it. haha
