A 9 year old's "Rocket estimation table"
9 year old "Shir" wrote a list for herself in case of rocket attacks on her home in Southern Israel. This way she knows how long it takes to run to the bomb shelter from everywhere in her home, from the time she hears the air raid siren.
From the living room -- 10 seconds to run to the bomb shelter.
From Or's bedroom -- 10 seconds to run to the bomb shelter.
From the dining room -- 6 seconds to run to the bomb shelter.
From Shir's Bedroom -- 13 seconds to run to the bomb shelter
From my parents bedroom -- 10 seconds to run to the bomb shetler.
From the hall bathroom -- 10 seconds to run to the bomb shleter.

I saw this and I sat here and cried. We have all known how suicide bombers attack buses, schools, outdoor cafe's in Israel. I remember reading one time a letter from a father in Israel how one of the things he and his wife had to teach their young children was when entering a building or a room to always know where the exists were in case of a bombing. That was several years ago and it suck deep into my being so much that I have never forgotten that.
Then the other day I saw this by this 9 year old little girl and once again that same haunting feeling returned.
My prayer for Israel is that one day children like this will not have to be concerned with this, that they will be able to feel safe and the last thing on their mind if at all would be how to escape to be safe.
Just one added thing to see. This video is made by a 16 year old living in Haifa , Israel .

many people abroad hate israel and have a distorted world-view.
everyone has his right to think whatever he wants, but there are a few things you all should internalize -
the IDF does not attack Gaza in order to hit the civilian popualation.
HAMAS launches dozens of missiles over israel from citizens' homes, kindergardens, schools and even from mosques !!!!!! it doesnt make any sense, and it shows clearly how Hamas doesnt care about his citizens. that fact doesn't give the IDF any other choice, but distroying these houses, which causes the deaths of innocent people."

It is sad that children have to live under these conditions..any child whether Israeli or Palestinian should be able to live in peace without constant fear of attack.
But then I reckon it has always been this way somewhere on this earth...my great grandparents were raised on the frontiers of Texas and the Indian territories and the danger from marauding outlaws and Indians was a constant threat. We are enjoying the fruits of the labors of our ancestors...my hope is that future generations of Israelis will eventually be able to do the same

Last night as I watched the news they flashed the "body count" for the latest IDF operation -- the reporter said 520 had been killed, 30 of them civilians. So...that means 490 were Hamas terrorists!! Where's the "slaughter of innocent civilians?" Each and every Hamas rocket is an unguided missile flung at an Israeli town with the intent of killing anyone unlucky enough to be where it strikes: child, elderly, hospital, temple, whatever. Seems to me the IDF's aim is right on...Hamassies are getting their butts handed to 'em. I really fear for Israel when the Obamination takes over...Israeli children will be LIVING in bunkers.

It's so sad Chrissie, there are far too many who set around and armchair quarterback the moves of the Israeli people and their military as they fight to survive. They are the protected, they get in their cars, go to work, to the store, to restaurants and theaters, send their children to school, safe, secure and in the knowledge that they'll be safe, totally complacent and oblivious to the reasons they are safe.
They pick up the news, or hear or see the news and it's always the same, Israel is the aggressor. They are spoon fed the drivel and too lazy to do their own investigating, they rely on ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN or Hollywood celebs for their world views. Totally ignorant of who provides their freedom or the reasons why. They, like the Palestinians, pass that creed to their children. Freedom can't be bought, only earned!!! Kumbaya, look at PEBHO!!!

As soon as you read or hear someone talk about Palestinian "innocent civilians" you know that it comes from someone who is ignorant, stupid, a Jew hater, or all of the above. These are the same people who were never concerned about or mentioned Israeli "innocent civilians" these last three years since Israel left Gaza and over 7000 rockets, missiles, and mortars were launched at them with the support of these same "innocent civilians". No outrage for all of the atrocities against Israeli "innocent civilians" since 1948. No outrage at any of the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein against his own "innocent civilian" people all those years he was in power.
So, when I hear these chronic complaining low lifes and their distorted view of the world, my immediate response is, "Shut the fu*k up you revisionist history lying bastards".

The Israeli's have been dodging motors and rockets for two years. When they have had enough they respond and the left part of the world accuses them of a disproportionate response. They should start dropping 500 pounders on GAZA just to make the Point of what over response really is. I mean just level Gaza and to every friggin palestinian out there who don't like it...throw rocks you retarded morons.
