Barack Obama Commemorative Plate

Wild Thing's comment.......

The ad is so corny I was sure it had to be a fake ad, a joke. But it is for real, here is the website.

Victory Plate.com

Also one of my cousins said she saw the ad on TV and almost threw up. I don't blame her. haha
I told her I thought I would wait for the Velvet painting version, and she screamed into the phone. hahaahha

I am so inspired I can hardly stand it! Everyone will be getting this for Christmas ( only kidding). heh heh

I showed this to Nicholas LOL.....here is his comment......

"I only have one thing to say,.....PULL! "

It was corny, wasn't it? He's not even President yet! I think they should have waited. What if he's a really stinker and messes up worse than anyone could have imagined?
Those actors were so goofy! I never thought this day would come...sure, right. They all seem so happy, like the children who got to follow the Pied Piper of Hamelin into the mountain because their parents didn't pay him for removing the rats. Good little comrades, eh?
I am NOT buying anything like this. I started laughing at it and got stared at. Oh well, so sorry--NOT!

I just told my wife Nicks comment...PULL ! She had a mouthful of coffee and spit it all over the computer laughing so hard. That is a great comment.

I was thinking about 6 of them, lined up for a rapid fire contest, give obama a third eye and win a 100 bucks.

Yes,
And there is an Obama commemorative coin advertised on TV. I googled Obama commemorative coins and came up with that as the first on the list commemorative Obama dollar @ $9.95 (order now and get the Obama-Kennedy half dollar free for just $4.95 shipping) and second was Obama-Lincoln commemorative dollar which is also a coin @ $19.95. Unless I accidentally get on in change, I'll never have one.

God only knows what else may be floating around out there.

Might make a good dish to feed the dog with.

BobF - you must not like your dog.

The same kind of sheeple that line up the day before for Black Friday are the kind that will buy this commemorative political junk.

Great comment Nick. May as well, too shallow for a bedpan.

Nicholas, that was perfect. Chrissie, if it's a Velvet painting that you want, here it is -- "obama on velvet". Enjoy!

You can even hang it on the wall above this item as you go about your daily business and think of and commemorate our first affirmative-action president.

Lynn, hahahahaa, it is worth a good laugh. The ad almost looks like something from before any of us were born or at least all the way back in the 40's.

Zombie actors for sure. hahaaha

Mark, oh noooo hahaha that is funny.

Love this!
"I was thinking about 6 of them, lined up for a rapid fire contest, give obama a third eye and win a 100 bucks."....LOL hahaahha

James, heh heh

I swear I don't think any elected not a President yet in our history has ever had this kind of thing going on. And the thing is I would think he has to be asked for permission first so if so that means he is giving it the OK. Which makes it even worse.

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:01 PM

Bobb A., oh my gosh a coin too. LOL
This is nuts!!

Thank you Bob for your research. hahha I bet your right there are all kinds of things out there with this happening.

Steve, USMC, LOL good one!!!

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:04 PM

BobF, hahahaha

Wouldn't it be funny, you put the dog food on the dish and your dog snubs it and walks away. heh heh With a look on his face like hey I am a republilcan. hahaha

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:09 PM

Tom, yes LOL. I can see it now. How many votes was it...something like 52 milllion all with these plates under their Christmas tree as gifts.

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:11 PM

Jack, giggle. oh my gosh a bed pan. hahahahaa

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:15 PM

Les, oh my gosh, hahaa those velet painting things always remind me of how they did that for Elvis. Hahahahahhahaha

Help!!

Posted by: Wild Thing at November 29, 2008 07:23 PM

Per the ad,the plate includes a "certificate of authenticity". Ironic, since the person depicted on the plate does not come with a "certificate of authenticty" I.E.= an authentic U.S. of A. birth certificate that was not created on photoshop. Soon these will become suitable for target shooting per Nick or perhaps Hillary will throw one at Bill the next time he's caught fooling around.
