"America is not what it could be", was it ever what he thinks it could be. Democrats can only run for office when the country is in social peril, hard times and everything is wrong with it. And like mighty mouse they are here to save the day. Unlike the mouse, they never solve any problems, they always create more problems and make us pay for their mistakes, then blame the opposition party. In the process under the pretext of fixing OUR problems, we lose individual rights, become more and more dependant on the government. We have a constitution which to a democrat/progressive is a mere imdediment to their ultimate end total domination of the masses.

Over the past 70 years they have taken rights away, all under the auspices of making our lives better for us. It took a world war to get the United States out of the great depression, because Big Government stood in the way of any recovery with their social programs which put people on the dole and more and more dependant, relying on the government to do the job for us, where we used to do that job.

Is this the kind of prosperity obama is talking about where 25% unemployment is the rule rather than the exception. I truly believe this man is evil and will turn the United States into a thrid world country.

Obama should have answered this simple question very easily. Instead, he was probably caught up trying to remember if there was a prompted lie to this question. With Obama it is all lying and prompting.
