Obama: Russia, U.S. should not ‘charge into’ other countries

Reuters

LYNCHBURG, Virginia

Democrat Barack Obama scolded Russia again on Wednesday for invading another country’s sovereign territory while adding a new twist: the United States, he said, should set a better example on that front, too.

The Illinois senator’s opposition to the Iraq war, which his comment clearly referenced, is well known.

But this was the first time the Democratic presidential candidate has made a comparison between the U.S. invasion of Iraq and Russia’s recent military activity in Georgia.

“We’ve got to send a clear message to Russia and unify our allies,” Obama told a crowd of supporters in Virginia. “They can’t charge into other countries. Of course it helps if we are leading by example on that point.”

Wild Thing's comment.............

Obama, you traitor go to hell. And people want this guy to be our President? Obama always kicks the U.S.A. at the end of everything he says....Good luck jackass in the election!

We cannot afford this amateur hour foreign policy when we are engaged all across the globe with potential threats!

Hey Muslim freak B. Hussein Obama, the Philippines, Midway Islands, France on June 6, 1944, etc. were sovereign territories of Imperial Japan. Normandy and Sicily were sovereign territories of the Third Reich. We should have left them alone, and avoided provoking their legitimate fascist rulers too? According to your way of thinking.

This below is so shocking to me!!!!

Eight days after the atrocities of September 11, 2001, Barack Obama wrote a piece for the Hyde Park Herald—and blamed the attacks on “a failure of empathy.”

"Even as I hope for some measure of peace and comfort to the bereaved families, I must also hope that we as a nation draw some measure of wisdom from this tragedy. Certain immediate lessons are clear, and we must act upon those lessons decisively. We need to step up security at our airports. We must reexamine the effectiveness of our intelligence networks. And we must be resolute in identifying the perpetrators of these heinous acts and dismantling their organizations of destruction."
"We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair."
"We will have to make sure, despite our rage, that any U.S. military action takes into account the lives of innocent civilians abroad. We will have to be unwavering in opposing bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle Eastern descent. Finally, we will have to devote far more attention to the monumental task of raising the hopes and prospects of embittered children across the globe—children not just in the Middle East, but also in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and within our own shores."

Okay, he's an idiot. This proves it for certain. It's funny, the dummys think we just go over there and kill for the sake of killing. We don't. We didn't want to go into another middle east war. No one likes having to do that, but sometimes, hard decisions have to be made. And I wish people would stop linking the Iraq and Afghan wars together. They are separate. Iraq was because Saddam broke the rules that were laid out for him and there was proof of wmds and that he was funneling money to Al Qaeda and Afghanistan was for the bombings on this great nation.
We have never said, "Oh let's go kill those people. They're so bad that the world would be better off without them." War is never an easy choice for anyone.
Obamanation better get his facts straight and grow up or this nation will go to hell in a handbasket if he gets elected.

His utterances and thoughts are Orwellian liberalism at it's purest. This is the stuff being pushed down our throats by the biased MSM and in universities all over America. This is anti America mindthought. Of course I will cling to my guns and religion. With people like Obama wanting to control all aspects of my life and change my traditional American culture, I feel the neccessity for prayer and ammo.

Barack Hussein Obama never misses an opportunity to trash or blame the United States for something regardless of what topic he is talking about in that moment of time. This invasion charge comparing the United States and Russia is so hate-filled and anti-American that Obama's nose should be rubbed in it every day before and after the election.

If this traitor ever becomes President and orders troops to be deployed to another country for any reason all the troops should respond with, Hell No! We won't go.

Obama took another cheap shot comparing China to the United States.

"Their ports, their train systems, their airports are vastly the superior to us now, which means if you are a corporation deciding where to do business you’re starting to think, “Beijing looks like a pretty good option.”"

Obama: Know where it’s really great to do business?

Hobama sounds like a mayor of some small city in Identifying and dismantling these organizations. Then what we prosecute them and lock them up for a few years to teach them a lesson. He should run for Mayor of Podunk Illonois not President of the United States.

Hobama wants more understanding, of these poor wretched individuals, it's not there fault. In essence he is blaming the United States for 9-11. We don't feel sorry for those poor, downtrodden, less fortunate people of the world.

So this has generated his plan to eleviate world Poverty at our expense to the tune of $845 Billion dollars this will fix all our problems and prevent another attack from happening.

Putin will have this guy for dinner. Ho-bama isn't a liberal he is plane stupid, and you can't fix stupid.

Lynn, good one! I agree and I am so tired of the left and how they are doing the things you said too.

Cheryl, yes, he is such a pure communist/marxist/socialist he can't hold back when he comments on foreign policy, or anything else. He couldn't be a loyal American if his life depended on it.

I agree too he grates on my last nerve when he speaks.

Tom, "I feel the neccessity for prayer and ammo."....I agree.
Obama scares me in what he wants to do. It is hard to accept that a person that hates America like he does can even be allowed to run for president.

Les, thanks for the link.

Your right no matter what topic he is talking about he will somehow bring up his hate for America. He will work it into his speech one way or another.

Mark, "Hobama" good name for him.

Yes Putin is probably all excited thinking Obama might win.
