I am SOOOO stealing this! Hilarious!

However, the Soviet National Anthem is pretty cool...for commie rat-bastards.

I bet Putin has mixed feelings on this parody. Putin would love to see a communist in the White House, but Putin must be jealous of the popularity of Obama. I doubt Putin's popularity is rated in double digits.

This is not Obama's first association with the Hymn "Gimn Sovetskogo Soyuza" (The National Anthem of the Soviet Union).

Soviet National Anthem Played at Obama Gathering

Keep your eyes and ears open for the Decemberists band at the Temple of Obama at Invesco Field tonight as they were at the May 18th Portland rally for Barack Obama.

Wouldn't it be something if magically the Glenn Beck parody played over the audio system and media feeds at Invesco Field tonight as the anointed One takes the stage?

I agree with Les, "Gimn Sovetskogo Soyuza" should be played at Invesco field.
Some of us here are young enough to remember the transition of power on the Isle of Indonesia. Sept 30, 1965 an attempted coup took place against Indonesian president Sukarno, many of Sukarno's military leaders were killed, Major General Suharto, commander of the Army's strategic reserves took control of the army the following morning, Suharto's faction was firmly in control of the army. Sukarno's obedience to Suharto's 1 October ultimatum to leave Halim is seen as changing all power relationships. Sukarno's fragile balance of power between the military, political Islam, communists, and nationalists that underlay his "Guided Democracy" was now collapsing. The army led campaign to purge Indonesian society, government and armed forces of the communist party and other leftist organisations. Leading PKI members were immediately arrested, some summarily executed. The purge quickly spread from Jakarta to the rest of the country, and the worst massacres were in Java and Bali. The situation varied across the country; in some areas the army organised civilian groups and local militias, in other areas communal vigilante action preceded the army. The most widely accepted estimates are that at least half a million were killed. Many others were also imprisoned and for the next ten years people were still being imprisoned as suspects. It is thought that as many as 1.5m were imprisoned at one stage or another. As a result of the purge, one of Sukarno's three pillars of support, the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI), had been effectively eliminated by the other two, the military and political Islam. Being in the pipeline for either a MiddleEast war or Vietnam I became aware of this bloodshed when I viewed a Huey gunship flying down the streets of Jakarta shooting civilians on the streets. I almost went to Jakarta in 1985, it was still reeling from the events of the previous 20 years and not a safe place for a Westerner. I see the same power hungry look in Obama's eyes as Suharto had back then, Obama want's to be a dictator, the political party is only the facilitator granting him a blank check, his underground ties are his financial backing plus he definitely is not anti Communist. Beware America of what you wish for.

Jack thank you, I kind of remember it but that information helped a lot.

I agree there is hunger in his eyes and the more he gets the more he will demand and want, just like this thing tonight. This will have to be topped each time, to be bigger and bigger and more of a production.
