Irena Sendler vs. Al Gore

She saved 2,500 children from the Warsaw Ghetto in WWII. (Large photo shows Ireana in 2005 at age 95)

Al Gore - Propagandist and environmental alarmist.

Irena Sendler - During World War II helped save 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto by providing them with false documents and sheltering them in individual and group children's homes outside the Ghetto:

The Nobel Peace Prize - awarded "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses."

Irena Sendler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, but lost to Al Gore's propaganda film.

Atrocious.

Wild Thing's comment........

If Algore had an ounce of shame he would decline the prize and have it posthumously reassigned to Irena.

The scary thing about Algore is that he has invented a scam much larger than Y2K and it is going to cost the world trillions of dollars. And gullible people believe him. And he is laughing his way to the bank.

What an honor it would be to have met such a woman and be able to thank her for all she did and for the person she was.

....Thank you Tom for sending this to me.

Al Gorey is a cheap joke. Funny how this summer up here has been mild with the exception of the storms. The temperature has been wonderful. Yesterday was only 82. Saturday was 78. I haven't even turned on the AC yet. I like it more temperate. But every time he opens that pie hole of his, God does something. It was even cool in Iraq for this time of year--in the 90s, when it should be well over 100!
Irena should have gotten it, but the morals of the selection committee are not the best morals. They went with the politics of the day.
Global Warming is a farce. And Climate Change is what happens when the seasons change.

What a differnce between two people. One is selfish, overbearing, self agrandizing, pompus, and would sacrifice his own family for power not himself, of course.

The other a genuine hero, self sacrificing, to save the lives of children at the risk of her own life and it damn near cost her life. She never thought of herself as a hero, but questioned herself, "Why didn't I do more." Irene Sendler ranks right along side of Mother Terresa.

Gore on the other hand ranks even lower that Hitler. Scum of the earth.

This is one of many examples of why the Nobel Peace Prize has become a farce. Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Yassir Arafat were all awarded the prize in situations which were strictly aimed at snubbing the morals of Middle America.

To overvalue a dishonest idiot like Al Gore over a heroic Irene Sendler reminds me of the mournful wailing over the death of Princess Di, a priveleged celebrity woman of questionable morals, while ignoring the death the same week of Mother Teresa, a real saint.

Why honor this woman with a forever tainted symbol of 'peace' as envisioned by the Communist social engineers? To be included and associated with the likes of Jimmy Carter and Al Gore, who would be better recognized by the International Lenin Prize for Strengthening Peace Among Peoples, amongst whom Fidel Castro is honored. It would be an insult to Irena Sendler's memory and her truly peaceful achievements to lower her status as an honorable and heroic human to that of Carter and Gore. Ditto Tom

Lynn, thanks and here too in Florida. For the month of June it was not that hot like it was the last few years.

Mark, Amen to that!

Tom. it just shocks me how people think Gore is even worth the air he breaths. He is so horribe.

Jack yes I see what you mean and I agree. I just get so disappointed that something that could have been something good is all tarnished with the names of those that have received it.

Thanks Jack.

The "inconvenient truth" is that the Nobel Peace Prize is a sick joke and Algore is the sickest joke in the world today. Regardless, it would have been nice if Irena Sendler was awarded the prize but she still towers over Algore as a person and someone who made a positive difference and contribution to all humanity.

I wouldn't be surprised if next year the Nobel committee awarded the prize to Islam, "The Religion of Peace."
