GOP/RNC Convention To Commemorate Earth Day 2008

GOP Convention website

The GOP/RNC just keeps kicking the conservatives to the curb! Good grief!

All I can say is I am sure glad November is not here yet. We have a few more months before Bush leaves office. He does not get a gold star, but he sure was never as bad as what we have to vote for this time.

McCain's speech Tuesday night reaching out to Democrats and Independents what the heck does he have to do that for. He didn't want to allow the video of Rev. Wright in that video ad and told of the people that did it. But it is ok with him to treat conservatives the way he does.

The legacy of Ronald Reagan deserves better than the present day RNC and GOP.I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since I already posted that McCain has Gone Green shopping at his website. ( shaking my head )

I am beyond disgusted!
(OK end of my rant)

I guess we'll have to start our own party. I mean, I don't mind recycling and doing my part, but I don't want to go overboard with it either. I don't like being tossed aside like last week's leftovers either.
I'm afraid we're going to go too far and ruin the planet. Too much sun coming through means too much damage as well. The Bible (Basic Information Before Leaving Earth) has it right--Everything in MODERATION.

It sure looks that way Lynn.

Celebrate Earth Day ??? The RNC has pulled out all the stops to totally destroy the Conservative movement that created the juggernaut of the Reagan coalition. Someone said, McCain had to deal with the conservatives, that McCain had to bring them back into the fold. He has not done that. Obviously, to say he doesn't need us is an understatement, from him and the RNC.

This attitude of McCain and the RNC says it all. They want to return to the days of the 'Blue-Blood-Country club' republican party where we had a simple minority and occasionally were allowed, by the democrats, some say in some non-descript piece of legislation.

It would not surprise me if the next thing on the RNC agenda will be to celebrate, 'Abortion Day' and 'Gay Pride Day', and 'Undocumented Worker Day'. By September 4 the end of the convention, the Republican Party will move closer to a democrat agenda. Any similarities between the two will be intentional.

Our union bosses no longer need the members only the money.

As a former rancher, I love the land. When I lived in a house I was a gardner, I love the soil. I do not want to abuse anything natural. But, you don't make it a political issue(read a money making and power grabbing issue). The selling, issueing, rationing of "carbon credits' and fining for "carbon footprints" is a political scheme.

The few idiots left in the RNC are jumping on the lucrative environmental bandwagon like school girls on the latest fashion craze.

McCain may win the presidency. But there is no Republican Party left. Just the few wealthy wheeling dealing brokers working with global financers to make even more money while the national culture and spirit of America gets blown aside by greed.

All conservatives recognize BS when they see it, even if they can't define it. Earth Day is BS, and the GOP is just another BS dispenser. All government, collective efforts other than for defense, public health, infrastructure, justice and liberty are crap. We know instantly which things are proper and which aren't, when we're being conned, exploited, controlled and set up. Since this is the mood of the age, we have a lot of pain ahead.

Lynn, I agree, moderation is the key to so many things. Except M& M's for Nicholas he can't just eat one. LOL Sorry I couldn't help it.

My Grandfather used to say, moderation in what you eat or drink and you will live a long life.

I agree Lynn, it is like our party is kicking us out, they sure treat us that way. Intentionally doing everything that the left stands for making both parties pretty much the same agenda.

Mark, so true, good commnet describing how it has become too.
Sometimes I think that a lot of dems have left the Dem party because it has gotten sooooo far to the left and they joined the GOP. Then with their already left way of thinking they became rino's, were put in charge of the GOP/RNC and then changes were made in our party and what we have stood for and stood against.

Our party has made such a hard left turn it shocks me.

Jack, your right, that is all they want from us, our donations. sheesh.

Well they aren't getting mine and haven't been for a long time.

Tom, I know exactly what you mean about loving the land. I grew up on 157 acres in the country. Horses, lots of woods, a wonderful fresh water spring, all nature even though the city of Peoria was about 25 minutes away. And I love to garden, it is a great joy to me.

But like you said this is different, this is like an obsession and people are using it to make money off of it. Money from mostly poor people too that don't have it to donate to stupid lies like Global warming.

God has managed the earth perfectly and He still will.

I think we should take care of it. Not abuse it like being careful of trees that are cut and make sure new ones are always planted etc.

I have been political since I was a child, taught well by my wonderful Daddy and this really breaks my heart to see my party becoming a democrat party before my eyes.

Rhod, AMEN and a big ole ditto.

"We know instantly which things are proper and which aren't, when we're being conned, exploited, controlled and set up. Since this is the mood of the age, we have a lot of pain ahead. "

Ditto's to everyones comments. I just let my mind wander and thought how great it would be if the election results next November showed a massive and majority write-in vote for Ronald Reagan. Can you imagine? The MSM, DNC, and RNC would go nuts.

Barack Obama would acknowledge his 50% white heritage and repressed conservative values as he announced his candidacy for 2012. Hillary and Bill Clinton would react to the vote count, "What the f__k!"

All right WT, I concur that hygienically challenged left-wingbat mosh pit mutants are more INTO earth day than NEOCONS are....

Les,l now that would be great.
I could use a time warp is it called? Iti would be great if it really was possible to vote for Reagan again and he would actually show up and be President again.

Darth, haha ok. We should invent our own earth day, a conservative one where Dems can't grow. heh heh
