Considering VP With Obama ~ Chuck Hagel

Stevie Wonder - "You Haven't Done Nothin"

You Haven't Done Nothing"

We are amazed but not amused
By all the things you say that you'll do
Though much concerned but not involved
With decisions that are made by you

But we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
"You haven't done nothing"!

It's not too cool to be ridiculed
But you brought this upon yourself
The world is tired of pacifiers
We want the truth and nothing else

And we are sick and tired of hearing your song
Telling how you are gonna change right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
"You haven't done nothing"!

Jackson 5 join along with me say
Doo doo wop - hey hey hey
Doo doo wop - wow wow wow
Doo doo wop - co co co
Doo doo wop - naw naw naw
Doo doo wop - bum bum bum
Doo doo wop

We would not care to wake up to the nightmare
That's becoming real life
But when mislead who knows a person's mind
Can turn as cold as ice un hum

Why do you keep on making us hear your song
Telling us how you are changing right from wrong
'Cause if you really want to hear our views
"You haven't done nothing"!
Yeah

.

Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel said he'd consider an offer to serve as Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's running mate, if asked.

He said whoever the next president is, he will "have to bring this country together."

And this from a past news story:

According to Federal Election Commission records, Mrs. Hagel donated twice to Obama's campaign in February for a total contribution of $500. The contributions were first reported by the Washington Post

But Mrs. Hagel is acting on her own, said Mike Buttry, Sen. Hagel's chief of staff. In fact, Mrs. Hagel has contributed to a Democrat before. Last August, she donated $250 to Niki Tsongas, a Democrat and widow of Sen. Paul Tsongas of Massachusetts who was running to fill a vacant House seat from the state.

"Mrs. Hagel is a private citizen who is entitled to decide who she supports and how she supports them," Buttry said in a statement. "She has admired Mrs. Tsongas for many years, going back to the time when she was married to Senator Tsongas."

Most of Washington politics seems incestuous to me, like a bunch of bad actors. Rinos make me sick.

Darth, hahaha I guess they are on his what they call short list. haha

Short is right. short on good character.

Rhod, oh my gosh that is perfect! Thank you!
LOL I am going to add it to the post. heh heh

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 21, 2008 11:33 AM

Sierrahome, me too. If I couldn't rant about how I feel about all of this my head would explode.
At the same time it makes me feel sick to my stomach so either way I am not a happy camper with all that has been happening from the left and the rinos' way too many rino's. And one is too many and we are stuck with tons of them.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Self-serving opportunists, crooks, bottomfeeders, shysters, traitors. These are the better things I can call so many of our politicians.

If I did not fear an Obama presidency so much, I would be beyond caring who ran and who won.

Tom that is how I feel too.
We are still havnig to deal with the things Bill Clinton did. And Obama will be even more of a nightmare.

It's nice to see a Democrat from the Republican wing of their party sacrificing himself for the cause, Hagel would be a great Democrat VP, he thinks just like them. With the help of the RNC it seems that the anti-slavery rift that split the Democrat party of 1854 has been healed or at least reconciled with both sides on the same page they'll extend slavery to us all under Socialism. The Republican Party still hasn't figured out why Komrad McCain isn't getting the funds he thinks he deserves. P.T. Barnum would be proud of these misfits.

Why don't he just leave he has yet to do anything that even resembles a conservative. It would be a match made in heaven, Obama's ass in Hagels face.

Posted by: Mark at June 21, 2008 06:15 PM

Jack good one, yes ole P.T. Barnum would have a lot to pick from.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 21, 2008 06:40 PM

Mark, LOL...."Obama's ass in Hagels face".

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 21, 2008 06:41 PM

What has Barack Hussein Obama ever said, done, or accomplished that makes Chuck Hagel think that he can bring the country together? Doing that would mean compromise and there is nothing in his past that indicates Obama would bend the least in his Socialist and liberal ways.

As far as Chuck Hagel becoming VP goes, that is what is referred to as a wet dream.

There are some horribly ignorant Politicans running this country and Hagel is a prime example! - He is just one more that needs to be shown the door come election time!!

Posted by: cheryl at June 21, 2008 09:44 PM

Cheryl, I agree, I hope he gets voted out and a real Republcian voted in his place when he is up for election.

PS: Mark Twain (not Shania's great grandfather and she's on the make now I hear after 14 years...) said in 1866, "The French are governed by prostitutes." We are governed by pimps and prostitutes for power! RINOS are the Benedict Arnolds of our GOPher Party? Have a blessed Sunday! PS II: WT, I'm cold showered out and feeling like Spiderman....Climbing the walls!
