ECO McCain Goes Green ~ Gore Must Be Proud

McCain's frontpage at his Presidential run website.

.

I clicked on the little GREEN box and this is the page that came up.

His Climate Change page LINK HERE

At that page, McCain has a petition ( it would not all fit in the graphic above at my blog) where you can sign saying that you trust McCain to" protect our enviroment by using effectice market based solutions. "

OK now if you click on McCain's Online Store .....and then notice among the list of things you can buy it says......"GO GREEN".

LOL ok I clicked on Go Green and well here you go, McCain has this.............

At his GO Green page you can oder shirts, hats etc. for GO Green with MCcain.

One of the problems is that he is ignoring the very large numbers of scientists who are arguably more credible that hold a considerably more conservative view.

Rush spoke about McCain's going green yesterday and he was excellent:
Transcript snipets:

"When it comes to global warming and the 'fixes' for this hoax, our goose is cooked. It doesn't matter who you vote for president; we're going to get a liberal Democrat approach to fixing something that doesn't exist. It's just going to add up to more taxes."

"Senator McCain is sounding more and more like he's trying to position himself as a vice presidential candidate for Obama rather than as a Republican presidential candidate."

"I'm really conflicted here. I have not faced a situation where a major Republican presidential candidate sounds just like a liberal Democrat, and I know of no other thing to do than to tell you the truth: This is embarrassing, and it is frightening."

"I don't care whether you look at Obama or McCain; you are looking at people who want to recreate policies of the past under new names. But those of us who still proudly call ourselves Reagan conservatives are the ones looking forward."

"Now, back to McCain. I... I don't know. You people at the GOP and the RNC -- do you have any idea what you've done here? Do you have the slightest idea what you've done here?"

"Well, one thing I do know is that I'm 57 years old, and every winter that I've been alive, it's been cold. And every summer I have sweated myself silly outside in high humidity and high temperatures."

"President Bush is going to go to Saudi Arabia this week to ask King Abdullah to increase oil production. I want you to think about something before we come back: What's wrong with that? Because there's something really wrong with it."

"Oh, I see now. We're going to get our reputation restored by becoming just like those little pansy countries who couldn't defend themselves if their lives depended on it -- that's how we're going to get our respect back."

"An SUV hog hybrid is fine and dandy with me. We have one here! There's nothing chintzy about it -- you know, nothing white-wine-and-brie about this thing."

"'He doesn't really mean this, Rush.' I can't take that chance! I've never heard McCain so enthused! He was more passionate in this speech than I've heard him in years about anything -- other than maybe amnesty for illegal aliens."

"It's outrageous that we have American leaders willing to facilitate an attack on capitalism via this global warming hoax, who then have the audacity to say that what we're going to be doing is somehow related to 'free markets'."

.

Wild Thing's comment........

Once McCain clinched the nomination, he had roughly nine months to earn conservative votes. Three months have passed...and he's actually moved further to the left, seemingly turning his back on the party's base. What a mess!

Pray for our country, and like Tom has said.....buy ammo! Now is the time to get ready for whatever we might have happen no matter who wins this thing.

You bet I'm buying ammo!!
No matter how you look at it, we're screwed this election - it's going to be a challenging four years whoever gets the Oval Office. Which is why it's so important to focus on your local Representatives. People forget that the President can't legislate - that's what the Congress does. So who we have on the Hill is more important than ever now. Check out who's running for your state's seats and back the one whose record most stands for what this country stands for.
I know, I know, not an easy task. But it's the only way to combat this nonsense.

It's just another way of taxing us into the ground and forcing socialism on us. I remember, being a young child in the mountains of Colorado growing up and seeing those who hadn't gotten out of the "hippie" era putting solar panels on their homes and eating only natural foods, etc., which is all fine and dandy, but there have been NO tests to prove man is doing any damage to this planet. How insensitive to think you can improve on something God created! How rude do you have to be to try and change what God gave you? God knows what he is doing and he will give us only as long as He FEELS we deserve!
If we do too much, we risk destroying our home entirely! No one is using their head--you know that lump about 3 feet above their ass.
I will let you believe what you want, but don't shove it down my throat if I chose to believe something else.
Did you hear there's a backlash in Europe over the global warming hoax? It's taxing the Europeans too much and they can't afford it, so they're voting in more conservatives.
WE are so screwed this election and our children, grandchildren and descendency are going to have to live through Hell because of what we just did. What a shameful pity. I wanted a future of sunshine and fun for them, but I doubt that will happen now. It's going to be like Sombertown--judged by how many chores you do and how much recycling and cleaning up Mother Earth you do.
Why are we allowing this to happen? It boggles the mind.

yankeemom is correct about getting more Congresspeople into office that are Conservative. McCain is going to jump on whatever bandwagons he thinks will get him more votes in the general election. Whatever he says or does now is not all that relevant, because once he is in office he will move on with his own true agenda. He has blatantly lied before, shades of Bill C.

The politicans pushing this global warming agenda are some of the worst violaters, like Al Gore. Global warming legislation will be a large factor in passing socializing laws that will seriously restrict freedoms of the individual and give more daily power to the state.

I can see it now. On Nov. 4th our choice will be:

Barack Obama (Dem.)
Barack Obama-lite (Rep.)

Yes, we must support and vote for conservatives. Otherwise, the headline will be, McCAIN LOSES IN LANDSLIDE AND TAKES REPUBLICANS WITH HIM.

As for climate change...

The way I see it we have lost out on the presidential side this round, like yankeemom say's we have to concentrate on blocking the president's powers with a strong Congress. It seems to be the only recourse since both party committees have been hijacked by the pinko's.

This isn't socialist industrial policy, it's fascist industrial policy. Theoretically private industry required to institute grand state policies - not routine safety and payroll stuff - but STATE policy is the beginning of a fatal economic disease.

What makes the problem worse is that large corporations and the dicks at Mahogany Row are eager for this kind of stuff. They'll sell their companies to government for perks and behind the scenes access to state power.

Any politician who seeks this kind of thing is either insane or a megalomaniac. McCain meets both standards.

By the way, McCain's ideas are, so far, worse than anything proposed by either Obama or Clinton.

Posted by: Rhod at May 14, 2008 05:50 PM

Yankeemom, I agree, I hope everyone on our side of the asile does that too.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 14, 2008 07:48 PM

Lynn, yes and thanks for that about Europe I hadn't heard about that. They are leading the way into destruction I hope our country learns from their mistakes and does not copy Europe. Scary stuff for sure.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 14, 2008 07:51 PM

Tom I agree, that is my plan too, I really want to keep pushing the conservatives. I did before but then we got a rino that Gov. Crist and had no conservatives to vote for.

Les thanks for the link.

I am not looking forward to Nov. augh!

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 14, 2008 07:58 PM

Jack, yes, I heard on the news today we lost something like 3 seats these last two weeks.

We have got to outnumber the dems.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 14, 2008 07:59 PM

Rhod,oh my gosh, and thank you for the information. I wonder why they would be for it, it made no sense to me. But now I see from what you said.

Posted by: Wild Thing at May 14, 2008 08:01 PM

Rhod......"Any politician who seeks this kind of thing is either insane or a megalomaniac"......I agree 100% with what you said.
