Obama Would Consider Gore for Major Post

Obama Would Consider Gore for Major Post

Breitbart.com

WALLINGFORD, Pa. (AP) - Democrat Barack Obama says as president he would consider putting Al Gore in a Cabinet-level position—or higher.

A woman at a town hall asked the Illinois senator if elected president would he consider tapping the former vice president for his Cabinet, or an even higher level office, to address global warming.

"I would," Obama said. "Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He's somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I'm already consulting with him in terms of these issues but climate change is real."

Gore, who's work on climate change earned him a Nobel Prize, he is popular among Democrats.

Wild Thing's comment........

Gore invented the internet ....ya know.LOL

The only improvement Al Gore could see would be a cave with energy efficient dead people.

This just gets worse and worse, doesn't it?
Criminy--Al Gore is an idiot, but his village doesn't want him back!
Did he actually do any of the scientific studies of this so-called Global Warming (oh, now it's climate change.)?
What a bunch of HOT air!
Obamanation better stay away from this diseased person.

Let's hope is not thinking of appointing Gore to be head of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Yeah, Obama would have a Secretary of Global Warming. That would be the new Cabinet post for Gore.

Obama would probably also have new Cabinet posts for Office of Restitution for Blacks and Office of islamic understanding.

Obama is a Marxist. He would grow the government at a rate that would leave only a few of us as non government employees. The one area he would cut would be the military.

According to DickMorris.com, Algore could be the savior of the democrat party, in the event of a brokered convention. Afterall he is a super delegate.

All we can hope for is for this split is to continue and the dems tear each other to shreds, because McCain won't do that.

Then there is the Climate Change Algore, a good post for him might be to put his desk on the back lawn of the White House and have him count sparrows. Sort of like a Canary in a mine. When the sparrows count falls below that of the Canary he can sound the alarm, providing he can get back into the white house.

How can we as citizens be so inept to have these 4 people in charge of a Country that is so powerful yet so stupid.

Obama's algorithms, now that's innovation!!!

Follow the money, it's a UN tax scam to fund greater UN control.

This mention of Obama offering a high level government position to Algore is only the tip of the appointment iceberg that he will inflict on the country. When you look at who Obama surrounds himself with as friends and advisors you can easily see how he will severely damage the country and the greatness of it's past.

What a great idea. Gore SHOULD be a post. And like all posts, he should be buried deeply, anchored in concrete and have a job to do -- like a hitching post for dogs, or a post/ bumper at the White House parking area. Can't we just let this brain-dead zombie go away and polish his Nobel Prize somewhere far away?

Lynn, I would think Gore would turn it down. He would not want the pay cut, I think he is making a ton of money ripping off people with his global warming baloney.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 3, 2008 07:30 PM

Bob, I hope not, he (Gore in that kind of position) could force people to do things by laws that most people cannot afford to do if it happens. Just my thoughts on it.

Tom, yes that sure would leave very few of us, the worker bees or the oh we will have to come up with a name for us leftovers with brains vs. the sheep that will fall in line.

I hope these things from Obama are empty like his head. But since it is in print in the media he might have to make Gore the offer for real. Heck who knows they may even already be talking about it.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 3, 2008 07:38 PM

Mark.... I love your example and I want Gore in a yellow bird suit.

Oh wow I didn't know Gore was a super delegate. I am on brain overload and forgetting things. haha

Now that IS concerning for him to have a final say in his vote like that. That whole super delegate thing is such a dem thing just to take votes away from those that already voted. I never even heard of it till this year.

Jack, dang the UN, I am so sick of that UN. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 3, 2008 07:43 PM

Les, yes lots of changes will happen and not for the better.

Posted by: Wild Thing at April 3, 2008 07:47 PM

PeteSuj, LOL I love how you put that, especially the "buried deeply" part. heh heh
