General Petraeus vs. UnAmerican Democrats

US Democratic presidential candidate New York Sen. Hillary Clinton poured disdain on assurances by the top US general and diplomat in Iraq that US policy was working and demanded an orderly troop withdrawal .

Demonstrators from the group Code Pink stand in line to hear the testimony of US Army Gen. David Petraeus, Commander of American forces in Iraq, and US Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker before the Senate Armed Services Committe on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. US lawmakers Tuesday grilled the top US general in Iraq amid fierce fighting on the ground.

Obama stammering and babbling away. “Uh uh uh uh.” Both Gen. Petraeus and Amb. Crocker are starting their answers with: “As I said before. . . “

Then B. Hussein Obama called for a "diplomatic surge" including talks with US foe Iran, to help stabilize the situation in Iraq. Then he called for more pressure on the Iraqi government to embrace political reconciliation and a regional "diplomatic surge that includes Iran."

"We should be talking to them as well," Obama told the top US General in Iraq David Petraeus and US ambassador to Baghdad Ryan Crocker.

"I do not believe we are going to be able to stablize the situation without that."

"I think that increased pressure in a measured way, in my mind, and this is where we disagree, includes a timetable for withdrawal. Nobody is asking for a precipitous withdrawal."

"We all have the greatest interest in seeing a successful resolution to Iraq," Obama told Petraeus and Crocker.

"I continue to believe that the original decision to go into Iraq was a massive strategic blunder, that the two problems you pointed out, Al-Qaeda in Iraq and increased Iranian influence in the region are a direct result of that original decision.

"That's not a decision you gentlemen made. I will not lay it at your feet. You are cleaning up the mess afterwards."

Hillary Clinton and Hussein Obama were elected to serve the interests of their constituents and America. They are posturing at this testimony in order to serve their own selfish political purposes. Maybe they should excuse themselves so there will be no conflict of interests.

As usual, Gen Petraeus conducts himself like te man of honor he is.

Yep, Cuchieddie, you very bad, but that's okay. Me too.
Hitlary and Obamanation NEVER served in the Armed Forces, so how do they know what works and what doesn't? We can only hope that their faces freeze that way and someone has to lock them away for their own "good."
And Code Pink makes us "good ole girls" look really good! At least I've chosen my side and it's the side of right and might.
Code Pink can go suck an egg!

Thank you, WT for labeling all of General Patraeus's uniform. They have a bunch of ribbons and badges. The Marines used to wear the Division patches on their uniforms and Leather belts but those damn belts got us into a lot of trouble.

The protestors who hate this country, and show up everytime they think they can get a headline are the most vile SOBs there are. They won't leave because they already know, that this crap would land them in jail in any other country.

And as you pointed out Obama without his teleprompter was like the highschool reporter talking to the local Police Chief, stuttering and stammering through his turn knowing full well he was so outclassed that he really didn't belong with the big dogs.

One thing Obama keeps saying is he considers the attack on Iraq a blunder. He keeps repeating this over and over, this I think parallels what his Uncle fester ...er pastor was saying about 9/11 that we deserved the 9/11 attack. He believes this, I am now sure of it.

There was a poll on AOL that questioned Obama's patriotism and 52 % of the respondants also said they question Obamas patriotism and commitment to the United States of America. One video that drove that home was the stage shot of the candidates, they were all democrats, and only Obama stood their with one finger up his butt and one in his mouth waiting for someone to yell 'Switch', This Jerk--- didn't even have the common decency to at least stand facing the flag.

We don't need this backward arrogant SOB as a Senator or god forbid President of the United States.

If Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama had service ribbons they would have one each for lying and naivete respectively.

Sen. Clinton demands an orderly troop withdrawal. It would be revealing if someone in the hearing challenged the Commander-in-Chief wannabe to put up or shut up if she doesn't present her orderly withdrawal timetable too.

Sen. Obama calls for a "diplomatic surge" with Iran. Someone in the hearing should challenge the presidential wannabe to put up or shut up if he doesn't provide specifics before the general election of just what he will give up in negotiations with Iran.

Hillary & Obama don't belong in the same room with General Petraeus. I just hope that he can get that foul odor out of his uniform.. 'nuff said

Les, I would love that, I know it wouldn't happen but wow that would be fireworks. To have someone stand up and look Obama right in the eyes and say Put up or shut up! Yesss

RAC, I agree! I am amazed at the patience of Petraeus. This had to be a very long horrible day for him to even be in the room with these twist SOB's.

Hi Tincan Sailor, if Obama wins I swear I am coming up with a new name for him and it will not be pretty. I can't stand him and his America hating friends.
