B. Hussein Obama Has Calypso Louie's Endorsement

Farrakhan praises Obama at Saviours' Day event in Chicago

CHICAGO

In his first major public address since recovering from complications due to cancer, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

Farrakhan and his family have a farm in New Buffalo Township in southwestern Michigan's Berrien County.

Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent the majority of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."

Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers dressed in Nation of Islam attire including long white suits and matching head scarfs for women and navy-colored uniforms with caps for men. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

Obama's campaign spokesman Bill Burton said, "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support."

More form the article......

Farrakhan also leveled small jabs at Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama's rival for the Democratic nomination, suggesting that she represents the politics of the past and has been engaging in dirty politics.

Farrakhan's keynote address at McCormick Place, the city's convention center, wrapped up three days of events geared at unifying followers and targeting youth.

Wild Thing's comment........

Obama's campaign spokesman Bill Burton said, "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support."

Obama’s pastor, Rev. Jeremiah White, of Obama’s racist Trinity Church of Christ, is a good friend of Farrakhan.

I don't care what his campaign spokesman says, if a person does not want to be associated with the likes of Farrakhan he would not only distance himself from that person but certainly make a statement that he does not have the same beliefs. But then Obama can't and won't do that either with his ( Obama's) stupid church that preaches hate of whites, Jews and Israel.

Comments

And did you notice Farrakhan didn't mention Whites in his little prejudicial speech? It's okay for Muslims to be bigoted against us but if we say McCain is the "Savior of America," and don't mention the other races, we're called bigoted and racist.
Farrakhan is even a more dangerous man than Obama because he has the ability to incite riots and he has the gift of gab. People hang on his every word.
Doesn't anyone remember what happened when John Lennon said the Beatles were bigger than Jesus? People broke their records all over the world. But it's okay for some tin plated, overbearing a-hole to call Obama the Savior and he's praised for it? Something is very wrong with that.

I thought Bill Clinton was supposed to be ... blacker than Obama? Snow bunny Hillary ? The NAACP and Nation of Islam have sure changed their tunes recently, eh?

With Farrakhan's endorsement this should be a clear indicator of the campaigns direction. And what is really the bottom line. Racism, and that is what this is all about.

You have guilty white liberals buying into this non-sense and of course the blacks think Obi Wan is the second coming...Now hopefully, this endorsement by Farrakhan the rest of the Nation's Mind-numbed robots will begin to wake up and see what is actually going on.

Lynn makes an excellant point, we know who Farrakhan is but Obama has not committed himself yet. He is still an enigma still trying to see how far he can push 'whitey', before they are turned off by him.

Yes Lynn, I did notice that he couldn't mention "Whites" along with the "black and brown and red and yellow" but then a little later he did elevate the Whites to a Supreme level when he stated "A black man with a white mother became a savior to us"!!!! Sounds like his mother is on the same level as Jesus's mother, Mary!!!!! Whites aren't good for anything but we can produce "Saviors"

What a flipping idiot!!!!!!!!

I am really starting to fear we will see a race-war if this man is elected. Farrakhan has said more than once that Jews and Whites are "the problem." When Hitler said the Jews were the problem, he decided to exterminate them and anyone he considered "untermench." What will supporters (disciples?) of Obam-in-ation do if he decides "change" means revolution? Maybe I'm over reacting, but it's scary.

I don't understand. People like Obama, Mariah Carey and Halle Berry are raised by responsible White mothers after their Black fathers desert them. Then these people become anti-White in attitude.

Race will play a very major role in this election. It will be Black racism on display, even though the common claims are that only Whites can be racist. Bad times ahead!

Every comment here, in my opinion, hits the target.

We've been dancing around the matter of race in this country since The Great Society crashed in the 1970's.

Obama brings the subject out of the shadows without even trying - because he represents the successful end of black attainment with the same old BS and self-generating resentments of black narcissism and self-assertion.

I'm not a racist, but I'm goddamn sick and tired of having my face pushed into black issues every day of my life. Most of us out here in the real world do our best to make life easier by being as understanding of personal differences as we can, and we don't take it home every day when we're scorned for group stereotypes.

The white lib says blacks have been living with group stereotypes for centuries, so let's allow the process to continue by punishing whites for events they had no control over. Well, enough is enough.

It isn't part of Obama's overt plan, but he's going to drag these resentments and smouldering anger out from whites, blacks and Hispanics, and they're going to be center-stage. Liberals made it impossible to discuss them in the open for forty years so now we have a capped volcano about to explode.

Good. It's about time.

Lynn your right, he didn't say a word about whites, I guess he hates whites so much it is unhealthy to mention us. hahahaha

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2008 12:23 AM

drstrangeloveb52isok, I guess Bill Clinton has been removed from his title as anything to do with being a black President. I never understood that, where it came from. I think he liked it and I guess it got him votes when he needed them.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2008 12:27 AM

Mark, I hope so! The endorsement by Farrakhan should send off bells and whistles to a lof of Obama's followers. Weird how I think of them as followers and not voters. Yikes that is a scary thought too.

John, yesss, this is something I will never understand.

This is about America, the future and safety of our country. Why oh why can't those that vote for Obama see that it goes much further then if he is a black man or not. Or with Hillary voting for her because she is a woman. SHEESH what the heck does that have to do with a person being the best for this country. Nothing at all. It all seems so shallow and nut's to me, like part of their brains are MIA or something.

PeteSuj, I don't think your over reacting at all. With this Obama I think anything is possible to happen.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2008 12:43 AM

Tom I feel the same way.

I heard a wonderful black speaker the other night on the radio that I am going to post about what he said.He was very interesting and I wish more blacks would seek out information like he did about history and the truth.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2008 12:49 AM

Rhod, I agree 100%. Like you said too he may not have planned on it as part of what will happen, but it will.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2008 12:53 AM

Considering Barack Obama had a white mother, I am still waiting for someone to ask him publicly what he is teaching his daughters about their white heritage.

Posted by: Les at February 26, 2008 01:00 AM

Les that is an excellent question.

If he is a good Dad he will share with them in such a way so they do not grow up to hate either race, we will see I suppose.
