Well, he can do less damage on the campaign trail than he can on the Senate floor.

Kennedy & Kerry's endorsement is going to make for some awkward moments in the Senate cloakroom after this is all over.

They're trying to buy seats in his cabinet.
And someone wants a vp nod.

They don't read between the lines to know what is

They just want to be in his cabinet.

I think Lynn hit the nail on the head. These professional politicians probably expect the Clintons to self destruct and Obama to have the draw of the anti war crowd, young voters and special interests within the Democratic Party like Eugene McCarthy did in 1968.

Let me get this message of change straight. Barack Obama accepts the endorsement of two of the worst, stuck in the past, do nothing constructive, and bureaucratic congressional failures -- John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) and Ted Kennedy (who was served in every bar in town).

My recollection of President Kennedy was that he dropped the ball with the Bay of Pigs, was the first to deploy American advisors and troops to Vietnam, and knew in advance about the coup and plans to murder the president of South Vietnam, Ngo Dinh Diem.

Lynn, I agree, they are kissing up to Obama to get on his good side for later on just in case. Government runs on favors a lot too and that has to be a part of it also. I did this for you, you do this for me kind of thing.
