If not me, then Obama, Kucinich tells Iowans

If not me, then Obama, Kucinich tells Iowans

The Columbus Dispatch

DES MOINES, Iowa

U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland, whose presidential campaign is barely noticeable here, today urged his supporters to make Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois their second choice in the Iowa caucuses.
The move could aid Obama, who is in a tight race in Iowa with New York Sen. Hillary Clinton and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards.

Under Democratic rules, a candidate who does not get support from at least 15 percent of participants at a precinct caucus is ruled "nonviable." That candidate's participants then can back a "viable" candidate.

In 2004, Kucinich wasn't viable in many precincts but helped Edwards place a surprising second by urging his backers to support him as a second choice.

"This is obviously an 'Iowa-only' recommendation, as Sen. Obama and I are competing in the New Hampshire primary next Tuesday," Kucinich said, adding that "Sen. Obama and I have one thing in common: Change."

Wild Thing's comment........

I would not want to be in closed room with Hillary if she does not win in Iowa. hahaha I would imagine she has a very loud, scary scream at those around her.

If Hillary looses Iowa, I wonder if their will be any Vince Foster type suicides?

Oops! I guess Clinton and Edwards should not have conspired over an open mike to try to ban the second tier of candidates from debates.

Actually, I see Kucinach's fans going to the loony Ron Paul's camp if Kucinich pulls out.

Well Ron Paul has been excluded from a debate on Fox and ABC, his 'paulies' are irate about that. And I think they have a point, the debates should be all inclusive and let the voters decide. who should be or not be there, the press is making that decision instead of the voter.

Kucinich, doesn't expect to get the 15% needed to be viable in Iowa. So he's giving his support to O'bama the Irishman(hehe), yeah right.

I really think the donks should rename their party to the Socialists democrats, because this is what they are advocating.

Well well, the munchkin supporting the Clinton spoiler, this has to put Dennis on the Hillary hit list. I have thought of the Democrat party as the National Socialist Party for well over 25 years, they confirmed their position when the CPUSA no longer found any difference in their platforms and quit fielding their candidates, the only thing missing is Hillary in jackboots with a quirt, sporting a fake moustache and "Goosestepping" to the FDR tune of Happy Days Are Here Again once she gets the nomination.

Kucinich is Gyro Gearloose, and his supporters are a bunch of cranks. He appeals to creeps, misfits, phony pacifists and space crawlers.

Most of them won't drag themselves out of Mom's attic to vote, so I don't think they'll make much difference in Obama's overall campaign.

Kucinich knows this. If he had any support to measure, he could hold out and make deals. Then he'd been seen as the banana mold he is, because no one would give him the time of day.

Dennis Kucinich and his supporters may have a few screws loose but they are not the scary ones. The real loose nuts are the supporters of Socialist candidates Obama, Clinton, and Edwards. We can all chuckle at the current antics of these candidates, but it doesn't matter who wins or ties in Iowa because the country is doomed if any of them make it into the White House.

I wonder if the Secret Service has increased the protection detail around Bill Clinton in case Hillary loses Iowa.

Bob, with their history and how they got rid of people before, I wonder too. Especially if she makes it to Presidnet and any trouble from anyone.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 2, 2008 05:35 PM

Tom, if I was nut case that is who I would go for. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 2, 2008 05:36 PM

Mark, Socialists democrats is much better name I agree.

Regarding the debates, I agree too, let them all at it and the people will decide. Just like a sw poll on O'Reilly one night weeks ago and the jerk only had Rudy, Mitt and Huck and left off Hunter and Thompson completly. I told Nick that is not a fair nor honest poll so why bother with it. sheesh It felt like a communist country way of thinking ONLY to put certain names in for the poll.

Jack,LOL yes Dennis better watch his step.
Love the music. heh heh

Rhod " banana mold"....Hahahahaha oh how funny.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 2, 2008 05:43 PM

Les, I bet she has laid into Bill a lot during this campaign.
I agree our country will truly be doomed if one of those you said gets the domination.

I think it's great that Obama is getting so much support. This means that our Nation is moving forward to better diversity and acceptance of those of different color. However, I do feel that Clinton is the best candidate that CAN WIN the republican nomanee. A vote for Obama is a vote to keep the republicans in control of the White House. Clinton already has an experienced team ready to lead. With Clinton in the White House and a stronger majority of Democrats in Congress, we will be able to progress so far. This Nation as well as the world will progress. Imagine how far we would have come if the republicans didn't control Congress while Bill Clinton was president. All they did was investigate sex scandals. If the Democrats were in control Bill Clinton would have done so much more for us. But even with the Republican's control, he accomplished great things. With Hilary in office AND a Democratic strong mojority to avoid filibusters by the Elephants, we will go far. Kucinich supporters, SUPPORT HILARY, Kucinich isn't going to make it. HILARY is our only hope for progress. VOTE HILARY

Phone home liberals 'r us! Who has bigger ears - Obama or Yoda or Spock or African elephants or elephants from India? - Q Tips 'N Hips 2008?

Kenneth Sanders, you and your Hillary and the rest of the Democrats are the enemy within our country. I let your stupid comment through just so I could tell you that. And if you think what ticked me off the most about Bill Clinton was his sex life you need brain.
How you and your fellow Dems want to push aside and ignore all the many scandals and gates
(china gate, file gate...etc.), and the long list of DEAD bodies of people connected to the Clinton's only shows me either you are like sheep or of the same low class, criminal character as Bill and Hillary Clinton.

And as far as Obama is concerned there is no way he is good for America in any office in our government.

Darth LOL good one!

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 3, 2008 12:47 AM

Kenneth Sanders - It was a Democrat controlled Congress that aborted the Democrat Hillary Clinton's ill conceived universal health care plan sponsored by her Democrat husband also the Democrat President Bill Clinton. In fact, many of Bill Clinton's revered "accomplishments" were due to the later Republican controlled Congress that most of it's Democrats were opposed too.

So, please stop the hate filled revisionist history. The Clintons were lying narcissists, are lying narcissists, and will always be lying narcissists. The Clintons are a train wreck trying to take the country down with them.

My PEACEMAKER B-52 moonbat-detecto-beam reads that Kenneth Sanders is the same 'ILKS CLUB'
advocate that John Ryan, Mullah Cimoc and Uranus
'R Us incorporated support. "Hitlery Rotten Clinton (666) is our only hope...?" - Beam Me Up To Uranus Scotty 2008! PS: Vlad Impaler Putin is a little more... trustworthy, eh Kenneth?
