Comments

The NFL is a disgrace for scheduling BOTH cold weather NFC and AFC championship games so late in the afternoon and evening! One game could have been played on Saturday at 2 PM and the other on Sunday at 2 PM... or at 3 PM at the latest. Welcome to the Siberian Bowls! The fans better drink vodka, gluh wein or antifreeze to keep from getting frost bite!! The NFL blew this deal, big time. Screw PRIME TIME IN THE TUNDRAS.

WT - those are funny commercials. So many times the commercials are more enjoyable and artistic than the TV programs they sponser.

Rooting for a Giants victory in the frozen land of Cheeseheads.
GO GIANTS!

Posted by: Les at January 20, 2008 02:58 PM

This is football, doesn't matter when it is scheduled. Remember the Ice Bowl in 67, Lambeau was frozen, bout the same temperature. There aint one.

The colder the better. we already found out what sandy eggo is made of. Oh where is Marty when you really need him.

Now we will find out what the Gi-ants are made of. In Green Bay, Wisconson. Game Time temp is -1 degree and a windchill of -23, brisk.

Can't drive out of the mountains to get to a sunny city, it is like this for about 4 more months.

Green Bay and New England in the Big one.

Bummer the Cheaters won...

Posted by: patrickdaniel at January 20, 2008 08:26 PM

Yeah right, 'aww da cheaters won.' Bwahahahahahahahahahhahahahahha...gasp...hahahahahahahahahhahahahaha... and the losers, Sandy Eggo, went home and can watch Super Bowl 42 on TV like the rest of us. But for you patsie, the Eggo's played well ... really they did, but then the Pats didn't play well... but the bottom line is they won, and winning is everything.

And isn't it appropriate that the pats colors are Red, White and Blue.

Now it will be the Patsies vs the Gi-ants.

How I would love to be a Patsie fan, for real.
But we mortals from Buffalo are stuck in our rut and mediocrity rules and as a Buffalo fan, it don't get any better than 8-8 and thats a good season.

Pity the fans.

Darth, LOL "Siberian Bowls"....yes it was brrrrr cold. Love all the elements it is played in, cold like this means the football is like a rock and makes it an added thing to deal with.

Congratulations on your Giants Darth.

Tom, thank you for watching them, glad you liked them too. I thought they were very clever.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 20, 2008 11:42 PM

Patrick sorry about the Chargers.

Once the Pat's got on such a roll of winning it was exciting to see how far it would go and last. amazing.

My teams didn't even make it as far as your's did. hahaa I will have to wait till next year. I am good at that being a Cubs fan and all. hahahaa

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 20, 2008 11:45 PM

Les, Giants game was so exciting. Wow, OT too. Congratulations on your Giants.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 20, 2008 11:47 PM

Mark, oh WOW I sure do remember the Ice Bowl in 67.

This was not the year for my Bronco's or Bears, but I still have fun picking other teams to root for and the Pat's are no less then awesome.

The GIANTS are all about THE BEST NFL ROAD TEAM in NFL history after winning the ICE BOWL II tonight 23-20 in blue state Wisconsin. TEN straight road victories with an Ole Miss QB that was supposed to be a loser and with a head coach that was supposed to be fired! Run the ball, control the clock and don't turn the ball over... Old School smash mouth football. Screw the supposed experts, ESPN analysts, writers and doom sayers. And to win it in Lombardi Packer Land was awesome. And to brave those wicked elements... WOW!

Posted by: darthcrUSAderworldtour07 at January 21, 2008 01:09 AM

yeah, look how many teams didn't make it.
Chargers were not 100%

I hope pretty boy and his 'the highest fined coach is NFL history' goes down (cheaters).

I do wish Shockey was playing! He's the only one I like on NY GiANTS.

Later all till next year....

I am looking to find a commercial from the Packer's / Giants game. It may have been for insurance, but it talked about leaders and in the face of change - the real leaders step up... don't have a lot to go on - but if anyone knows, could you email me at bhaudaciousgoals@gmail.com?

Thanks,

DP
