Ron Paul Wants $8,000,000.00 To Market Wild American Shrimp
It's in a subscribers only link at the Wall Street Journal. The Congressman wants $8,000,000.00 to pay for marketing of wild American shrimp and $2.3 million to fund research into shrimp-fishing.
These are but two of the Congressman's 65 earmarks sought thus far this year to the tune of $400,000,000.00.

What the heck are wild American Shrimp? LOL Oh maybe it's Shrimp that practice an immoral lifestyle. Much tastier than decent American shrimp.
So Ron Paul supports taxpayer dollars for the shrimping business, but not for our troops in Iraq, heh?

I thought Libertarians were against government spending. Ron Paul and his followers are almost cultish. He will fade even more as this election heats up.

They've been catching and marketing wild shrimp from the ocean for hundreds of years. Maybe Paul is trying to funnel some taxpayer money to his followers.

Are these damn things 'Sea Monkeys' the ones advertised in Comic Books ? One of my Sons ordered them 35 years ago and the order still hasn't arrived yet, last time I asked him about them he was still confident they were on their way.
Since when is the American Government suppose to be involved in private business, much less promoting it. Ron Paul is a classless Putz with a capitol P and it ryhmes with whizz.
This is just another example of do as I do not as I say.
After the Larry Craig affair in the mens room I am now convinced there is nothing in Washington they a good High Colonic couldn't fix and instead of using water we can use Chlorox instead and really clean the bums out.
