A Very Special Book From Two Very Special People

Linda gave me a very special present, a signed first edition copy of Faith Under Fire. The author Chana Besser, is Linda's friend, and lives in Israel.

Chana's book is about living through the 33 day war between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah. As the brave IDF soldiers fought back and then suddenly had to stop because of the weak Olmert caving in and then the terrorists claiming victory.

Thank you Linda for such a special gift and thank you Chana.

I'm trying to finish Pastor John Hagee's 'Jerusalem Countdown'. Israel is the ONLY democracy in the Middle East and only a few of us Christians care? Next week in Washington D.C. Christians United For Israel will have their convention - www.cufi.org - .... God bless Israel and His chosen people Chrissie. Amen!

Darth, thank you for telling me about that. That is interesting. I agree it is too bad so few Christians care.

... they don't care because they belong to the 'me, myself and I' generation WT! 'THEY' worship themselves and the evil ism's: humanism, secularism, materialism, hedonism, fascism, socialism, communism, islamofascism and relativism. - The truth hurts 2007

It is not just Christians, it is also a lot of Leftist, Liberal American Jews that don't support Israel. I cannot understand it. You would think that people who in a mini-second will claim victimhood based on the Holocaust would also be supportive of the Israelis who are always facing annihilation. Of course, these same Liberal Jews have nothing good to say about America, but would not go anywhere else. I just don't understand why all American Jews are not ultra-Conservatives, like our Lindasog.

Right now I hope Israel gets rid of Olmert and replaces him with a real leader, then marches through Hezbollah in Lebanon.

darth, true Christians, not those in name only, would never turn against Israel. When the Lord Jesus Christ walked upon the earth, he did so as a pork abstaining, Sabbath abiding, circumcised Jew. To turn on Israel would be to turn against chosen people. The Jews are God's chosen people and that's why the Arabs, descendants of Ishmael, the illegitimate son of Abraham, hate them.

Genesis 12 records a blessing and a curse upon those who support or turn against Israel. As long as we support Israel, God will bless us as a nation.

Tom your right too, it is a lot of people not only Christians. I don't get it either and Linda and I have talked about it a lot and she says the same thing.

Darth, there is a lot of that, the me generation.
