Can You Hear Me Now?

INDEPENDENCE DAY will have even more of a meaning this year!! Good work everyone. Thank you for all each one of you did!!!!! I love you all so much!!

..this is one of those occasions when the truth "WE THE PEOPLE" are the government is very apparent--there is hope for the old Republic yet........
Now, to quote Duncan Hunter--------Let's Build That Fence...........

Conservatives, we did it. We held OUR Congress accountable, against seemingly a unsurmountable invasion backed by those who attempt to control with wealth and greed. Let them know forever more, this is OUR country, OUR government. The only power they have is what we lend them. And today we showed that WE are THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, where freedom exists because we are willing to fight for it.

The political elites were shown that it is harder for them to pull the wool over our eyes than they thought and, maybe, they will now address the problem of border security before they try to force their will us. EVERY American who called their Senator and urged them to vote against this mostrosity deserves a thank you.

I am going to call all the Senators who voted No and Thank them.

Now let's see if we can keep the pressure on them until they start enforcing existing immigration laws and BUILDING THE FENCE.

I think Voinivich was emabarrassed into changing his vote, his lousy performance yesterday on Hannity was probably the straw that broke his whiney back.

He is up in 08 too.

Yes, now begin enforcing existing laws. This is beginning in some places. Hopefully it will pick up steam.

We have won part of the battle. Illegal immigration will not be legitimized and the elites in the Senate will not run roughshod over us "Lessers". Concerned American citizens worked hard to try to keep America a true republic. The defeated will also work hard thru devious means to prevent future defeats. Now we will probably have to fight to defeat the Fairness Doctrine so we can keep our freedom of speech.

Also, we need to work hard to get a true Conservative candidate for president so we don't repeat this near fiasco.

Thank you WT and thank you to all who have been pounding Congress.

There are stringent laws on the books, enforce them!!!

At least now we know who to vote off the island in the next election!
Let FREEDOM ring!
Sound the horns and bells and whistles!
This, ladies and gentlemen, is America and she
is not going down without a fight!
You threw the first punch, she's fighting back!
We worked so hard for this--now let's "git'er done!" to quote Larry the Cable Guy.

Time to take the pressure on our Congress critters up another notch. Keep kicking them until they start enforcing all of the current laws and finish the fence on the southern border.

Posted by: raz0r at June 28, 2007 07:31 PM

In addition to finally controlling the borders and enforcing existing laws, how about two more things? One, no longer grant citizenship to border and anchor babies of illegal aliens. Two, a government financial reward for individuals who identify employers who hire illegal aliens.

WT, we know what to do with Martinez and Nelson next election don't we! Now if the government would just enforce the laws they made.

Posted by: John 5 at June 28, 2007 08:53 PM

Van Helsing you are absolutely right, now they need to do what we told them we wanted done.
I will let them celebrate for the weekend. But I am going to start up agian on Monday reminding them what has to be done.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:32 PM

Mark I bet you are right, that has to have embarrassed Voinivich. We are watching and they know it now. And we have a voice that at least enough of them listened to.

Wow 08' that will be hanging over their heads too. I hope so anyway so they keep knowning we meant what we said.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:35 PM

Tom, yes we have won part of the battle.

This next election will define our country, I pray too that people are very careful about their vote like you said.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:40 PM

Jack yes they have to. whew what work this is geting them to listen and now too to get them to do it and follow through. haha

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:42 PM

Lynn..........."At least now we know who to vote off the island in the next election!".......LOL I love how you put that. Good one.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:43 PM

razOr I agree, the misson is not done yet. We only won the first part.

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:46 PM

Les those are excellent and I agree!!

Posted by: Wild Thing at June 28, 2007 11:48 PM

We still need to hold the shamnesty supporters accountable by putting them on the unemployment dole or the next time this comes around they won't take us as serious. Senator switchback, I mean bronwback needs to know that we are onto his kerry flip floppin' and that he best go pick lettuce for a living!

Posted by: Dan at June 28, 2007 11:49 PM

John, we sure do. I can hardly wait to NOT vote for Martinez. I wrote him a scathing email, really strong, attacked his character and the whole shabang. hahaaa He deserved it!
