Wild Thing's comment...........

Gary is a friend of mine. I met him years ago when we lived in Malibu, Calif. and working in films. He is a truly wonderful man and sincere in what he does. He truly supports the troops. He has traveled to Iraq and all over the world to entertain and meet the troops and thank them in person. I lost count how many times he has been to Iraq, but it has been many times.

I am honored to know him and grateful for all he does for our troops to let them know how thankful we all are to them for all they do for us and for America and for the world.

Speaking of Memorial Day, Darth mentioned this is the 231st Birthday of the country... Ahh is it a coincidence that the Marine Corps is 232 years old, the founding fathers had an idea of a Great Nation but first they needed someone to defend this new and great land, hence, the Marines came first.

Semper Fi and happy Memorial day, ya'll

Here's a link to the USO site with the 2007 tour schedule and the celebrities who will be on tour.

https://www.uso.org/whatwedo/entertainment/2007tourschedule/

These are the men and women who donate their time to serve their country and its military. By going into war zones, these people risk even more than the troops as they aren't trained to survive in combat situations but they're willing to take the risk. These entertainers deserve our utmost respect and thanks.
