Just Say No To Gore

...

Could Al Gore make bid for presidency at Oscars?
cnn

LOS ANGELES, California

We've seen plenty of political moments at the Oscars before. But on Sunday, we could see the most unusual political moment ever.

Consider this scenario: It's Academy Awards night. Best documentary feature is up. And the Oscar is favored to go to . . . "An Inconvenient Truth," starring former Vice President Al Gore.

Lawrence Bender, producer of "An Inconvenient Truth," and the film's other producers come up to accept the Oscar -- with Gore.

"There's even some speculation that he would use his Oscar as the occasion to announce that he's running," Martin Kaplan, director of the University of Southern California's Norman Lear Center, told CNN. "Imagine that: a billion people worldwide! Take that Jay Leno, as an announcement venue!''

Could it happen? Gore's producer thinks a potential Gore speech would be a historic moment, but not the way Kaplan envisions.

"It's electrifying, not politically, because is Al Gore going to run or not going to run. There's nothing going to happen like that," Bender told CNN. "It's electrifying because the man who is responsible for solidifying the forces around global warming is going to'' be acknowldged.

But could an Oscar start the momentum for a draft-Gore movement? USC's Kaplan thinks it could.

Wild Thing's comment......

LMAO, oh whew! OK so several weeks ago my husband and I got our package from the Academy for us to vote this year for the Oscars. Obviously we did not vote for Gore's film. hahaha No way! Every year it gets harder and harder to vote because we go to less and less films. They usually send a few DVD's f films they think will win anyway. Funny and thank goodness they did not send us Gore's film hahahahha

This is such perfect timing. As I was preparing this post I got an emaijl from Jack at Conservative Insurgent and here is a Petition we can sign. The Petition is to to Stop Gore and Reject the UN's Global Warming Treaty To sign Petition just go HERE.

If Algore gets into it at the Oskars or whatever that useless convention is, then that would really be interesting.

As it stands now you have the 'Annointed One' Hillary waiting to be coronated and an upstart, but Clean and Articulate Barack O'Bama the Irishman..er whatever.

So if algore gets into it, and does well this is really going to create a mess for the democrats, ha ha ha couldn't happen to a nastier party.

What is amazing is there are still 10 months before the first primary, Hillary could fade like so much flatulence from the Giant Raccoon.

Then they would have two porven losers and an upstart with two years experience but is clean and articulate. The infighting and the out fighting will be fun to watch.

You got the original Clinton team with Hillary, then the renegade 'algore', former clinton stooge and Geffen (also former clinton stooge) who is tired of the clinton lies. ( Is it just me or should all three, the clintons and algore be in jail. instead of running for president)

Why isn't the main stream democrat tired of the Clintons too ? The only reason Clinton won in '92
was thanks to 'Big Ears' otherwise he was done.

I wish Gore would run. The more egos that enter the Democrap primary, the more vicious the contest will be. I really wish Kerry had not pulled out. I was looking for him to end up as a carcass on the evening news as Hillary and Al Gore tore him up.

I wonder if a bug could be put in Pelosi's ear that she should also run. I would love to see the carnage in a Hillary-Pelosi contest.

Thanks WT, I signed the petition. Gore is still a danger to the free world, and has his loyal following of sycophants, including the press. His ideals and Kyoto type restrictions will place the U.S. under third or even forth world status. The goal seems to be a world wide carbon tax to fund the U.N. that the despots there would love to ram down our throats. Unemployment in the 12 countries that use the euro is averaging about 9%, compared with about 5% in the U.S., these are Kyoto signatories. Past enviromental constraints have moved U.S. industry offshore, to the point that it's nearly impossible to find anything that's not made in China or any stability in the workplace. Hillary is much more cunning and will sell us out too.

How appropriate. The world of fantasy runs full circle from Hollywood to American politics. The connection has always been there, but this would seal history's deal, and prove that God has a sense of humor....or that He's finally fed up and wants the situation concluded. It's "electifying" to be "acknowledged" by Hollywood? So is Mickey Mouse.

The "Acadamy" lost allof its credibility years ago with the fiasco of the Hollywierds with Michale Moore. Done. Over. Finished. I don't give a flying **** what the "Oxcars" say or do. They're crap and crap on crap. Just like the "Grammy" for the Dixie Sh*ts. If mush brained Niclole Smith/Brittney/The View/Oprah people of this country begin to think they got the answers it is truly time to build more relocations camps or get them the hell out of this country. I know my buddy Charlie will be the Head Usher. Bwhahahahahahahahahahaaahha

Jack me too I signed it. Thanks so much for sending it to me.

Regarding Gore I am still laughing at how they had to bring that women in (I forget her name..Donna something) to teach him on how to be macho, when he was running for President that time. hahaha
