EU Land Says Too Late To Halt Iran’s Nuclear Bomb

Too late to halt Iran’s nuclear bomb, EU is told

Iran will be able to develop enough weapons-grade material for a nuclear bomb and there is little that can be done to prevent it, an internal European Union document has concluded.

In an admission of the international community’s failure to hold back Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the document – compiled by the staff of Javier Solana, EU foreign policy chief – says the atomic programme has been delayed only by technical limitations rather than diplomatic pressure. “Attempts to engage the Iranian administration in a negotiating process have not so far succeeded,” it states.

“At some stage we must expect that Iran will acquire the capacity to enrich uranium on the scale required for a weapons programme,” says the paper, dated February 7 and circulated to the EU’s 27 national governments ahead of a foreign ministers meeting yesterday.
“In practice . . . the Iranians have pursued their programme at their own pace, the limiting factor being technical difficulties rather than resolutions by the UN or the International Atomic Energy Agency.
“The problems with Iran will not be resolved through economic sanctions alone.”

Wild Thing's comment.......

Well, they can't say Iran wasn't warned. EU land where stopping global warming, free healthcare, and 30 hour work weeks are more important than national security, fiscal sanity, and the future. Europe is sick.

There is little that Europe can and will do to prevent the Iranians from developing the bomb. The reason these clowns bring this up is that they expect the US to step in to save their worthless asses again. There's basically an anti-survival movement that's taken over western civilization. Especially Europe. Even if they knew the date and time for sure when islamic nukes would go off, I doubt even their leaders would bother to evacuate.

I know this is a cliche, but it's definitely like watching a slow-motion train wreck. The EU is the perfect expression of Western European intellectual and emotional limitations. It's a reinstatement of feudalism, this time with a kind of benevolence that steals and oppresses everyone equally.

We have to also remember that the EU is an effort to suppress Europeans' tendency to kill each other as a leisure activity, and if you pacify the members instituionally, you end up with a pacified institution. There's no other possibility.

I don't think the EU will last more than twenty years before it flies apart, and all of Europe will pay the price. It can only exist in a world stabilized by the benevolent powers of a country like America. It's parasitic, but it requires a US attuned to European affairs, a concern for Euro culture and a williness on our part to defend those unworthy of our efforts. That frame of mind is dissolving before our eyes.

At another time, I'd be sorry about this. But Suricou Raven stands for the very things not worth our efforts. I respect the real pacifist; I reject the sidelines complainer who sticks his finger in your eye when you're guaranteeing his right to hate you. Screw that and screw them. The US will be bigger, more powerful and more meaningful in the next generation, and the old, lost and decayed powers of Europe will be scrambling for a meal and fending off Sharia Law. I hope I live long enough to see it.

One of my uncles is buried in Holland, was with the Canadian Black Watch at Arnhem. He and thousands of others from this side of the pond. Never again should any soldier from these shores set foot on European soil in defense of Europeans. Cheerio everyone. Have a nice life.

The EU was formed mostly as another socialist venture and to compete with America economically. They knew we would protect them militarily, so they cut even more their defense costs and began using that money against us.

But it only took about 5 years for the EU to start coming apart. They lost most of the former Soviet satelite countries to more pure democracy (the American style), they blew a lot of their defense savings on social programs and they have not influenced the rest of the World the ways they thought, especially as an economic giant. As America pulls her military bases out of Old Europe the EUs initial economic plans are also undermined.

And they are commiting cultural suicide with both their anti-nationalistic programming and with their immigration policies.

Maybe 40 years aago Europe could have had some threatening influence on a rogue nation like Iran. Not now. The EU knows now they can only turn to America to face this threat.

Rhod, thank you for telling about one of your Uncles. I agree, never again, never should we send our soldiers to defend Europeans. I have had it with them. We do things for other places and they hate us for it.

The seeds the EU planted are starting to bear a crop. Looks like maybe in as little as a decade they'll be dead. Shame that the UK may end up going along for the ride.

razOr your right. How sad to see what has happened to the UK and I pray we don't let it happen here. Very scary.
