Where's a Tsunami When You Really Need One?

Peace activists beach at Bush

SFgate

About 1,200 peace activists lay in the sand to spell out "IMPEACH!" in 100-foot tall letters on San Francisco's Ocean Beach Saturday. Their pointed message, aimed at President Bush, was engineered by local cabbie and travel writer Brad Newsham. He recruited volunteers from around the Bay Area to form the demand that stretched across the sand. Supporters of his "Beach Impeach" project photographed the event from a helicopter hovering overhead.

Maybe joan Baez could borrow that guy's 12-string and lead them all in a singalong ---Wild Thing

Wild Thing's comment.......

This is has been done before, probably by their parents in the 60's. They sure have no imagination. I guess they didn't have enough people to spell out "WE'RE A BUNCH OF LOSER MOONBATS!!"

Oh sure, impeach President Bush because Caligula Clinton, your leftist role model was impeached.

Ahhhh a finer colection of beach bums would be hard to find...... And look!!!!!....Look at all dem shiny SUV's in the parking lot. Well I guess at least you can't accuse this bunch of being En-VIRAL-MENTAL-ISTS. Do you think they were really trying to spell I'm Peachi ???? Thounds Tho Frisco, doesn't it? Or are they just whining again and we were not treated to the whole message which said....Why did you try to impeach Clinton ???? If you look really close, you can see the woman sitting in the 7.95 plastic Rite Aid chair. She is a specialist that was brought in for this event. She's a retired supervisor from the Department of Health and Human Services fully qualified to make sure people are laying down on the job. Or is it Michael Moore filming his next movie and he just yelled "ACTION". In any event, I wish Johnny Carson were still around. I'm sure he would have said something like, "May a thousand sand fleas find refuge in your BVD's"

George Soros is getting his money's worth, they like the Brownshirts before them will wonder what happened when their efforts loose the new SS and they fall victim of the folly. BTW where is that earthquake we keep getting promised?

This is another of the byproducts of Western decadence.

Any idea which sinks to the level of fun and exhibitionism is immediately discredited. There's actually nothing beneath this, not even politics; just the permanent infantilization of people who have too much.

I think that's what angers me about this, and angered me about the same toxic unseriousness forty years ago. Any idea that isn't itself worthy of sobriety and measured presentation, is just a gas bubble in a head full of crap.

The only truth here is that these clowns have always been with us, always will be, and are always the first to take cover behind people better than themselves.

I'm unsure of the existence of God, but in an explosive sermon I heard almost fifty years ago, the evangelist yelled out "God hates the coward!" I didn't understand it then. I do now.

I've got pics from the ground and snarky commentary.

I miss Johnny Carson and his monologues.

Jack, I did several support the troops rallies. And each time there were people there from the left, holding up their protest signs etc. Now we on our side could only meet on weekends or on a weekend night because we all worked. But the lefties they would do their protests daily and I always wondered how they made a living when all they did was get together to bash our troops.

One day I got one of them to admit that some of them were paid. Not only if they would protest but also to post online at political forums.

I called the RNC and asked them if they did this...pay people to be activists and the lady laughed along with me and said "Nope". hahaha

I agree, George Soros funds a lot of this stuff, maybe all of it. Not sure if they all get paid but a lot of the leaders in it do. They truly are a disgrace.

Rhod, I agree, they arfe not going away, they will always be with us.

When I read this......

"an explosive sermon I heard almost fifty years ago, the evangelist yelled out "God hates the coward!" I didn't understand it then. I do now.".....

It gave me goosebumps. You have such a powerful way of saying something. Thank you.

These Bastards, sorry this is the only word I can think of that describes these anti-American scumbag-MF-maggot protestors. (...and thems there good points)

They hate the same country that has given them the right to do exactly this.

No wonder the Enemy leaders have taken credit for the deficrats winning the election. When they have an ally like this it is hard not to.

Mark, that is exactly what they are and worse.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 7, 2007 12:52 PM

When I see this protest nonsense I don't know whether to laugh, get angry or barf. As stated, it has been and always will be with us. It is a form of masochism. Pampered and privileged idiots trying to overturn and give away or give up the American system that allows better people than themselves to keep these little darlings safe, well and in an always advancing civilization.

Thank you, WT.

I was hoping some lefty would stop by and take exception, and then demand to know why God hates a coward. God loves everyone, even cowards. Right?

Well, the comment was that God hates THE coward, which is the personal abstraction of the qualities of cowardice. Self above all, the willingness to let others defend you and that which is right, and the trembling sell-out to evil. If there's a God as I understand Him, he hates this, as everyone should.

I remember nothing of that sermon but that, but it must have been about sacrifice, loyalty and honesty to oneself and others. Something these sandworms think they have.

WT - your title for this post is perfect!

Posted by: TomR at January 7, 2007 05:19 PM

Rhod, your correct about your statement of God hating the coward. It can be found in the Bible, Deuteronomy 28:8...And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.

A coward will cause others to become fearful and God didn't want cowards to associate with men during battle.

In John 15:13, Jesus said this: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

As you can see, a coward would not lay his life down for his friends, or even his family.

I am so ready to be NOT living here! (one more year! Just one more year!)
Seriously, I have gotten to the point when a "discussion" arises between myself and one of the peace and impeach people, I ask "why" to what ever statement they are making. Then I again ask why to their response, if they have one that's more than "because..." I find that the discussion comes to an abrupt end, or they just start repeating themselves. And saying bad words.
The peace group here in town started off the New Years parade with many dressed in black - that's how they see honoring our Fallen warriors.

Tom, I know what you mean. Nick laughed at them for a few seconds how stupid they are. Then he got angry about them.

For me, I get such anger at them right away. If they doing it in a hidden place and on one else on earth saw them that would still be bad. But to do it for publicity and know our troops will see it like they do so easily, adding in our Veterans too..........all of that makes me so angry at them.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 8, 2007 04:11 AM

Rhod, I have a feeling I have a lot of lefties reading this. I have been getting a ton of extra hate mail from them lately. There is another example of what cowards they are.

I think the added hate mail is due to the Dems getting in the Majority.

Posted by: Wild Thing at January 8, 2007 04:16 AM

Yankeemom, I know exactly how you feel. LIving here in Sarasota,Fl. we hardly have any anti- war stuff going on. When I did the support the troops rallies we drove up to St.Pete, Fl. to do them because the lefties meet there every Friday and Saturday night year round. It is sickening.

When I lived in Calif. they were all over the place.

2 F-18s Ten feet off the deck right over the
Impy sign...@ full afterburner!!!

Posted by: Tincan Sailor at January 8, 2007 11:03 AM

Tincan, early in my AF career I worked with maintenance troops that used to tell of F-4 pilots who did that in Vietnam over the rice patties. That would use the afterburners to "flush out" the VC...go low and slightly nose up. They said that their were times they had to remove vegitation from the aft edge of the tail section; that's how close they came to the ground.

It is sad to see the once Golden State in which I grew up and still live. It has been ruined by these people....

Ocean Beach is actually very pretty and scenic this time of year, minus these creeps.
