Democrats Raise $620K for Radical Islam

WASHINGTON, Nov. 20—

More than 1,000 people turned out on Saturday at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) banquet in Arlington, Va., to hear addresses by several elected officials, including Keith Ellison, the first Muslim in Congress.

The event raised more than $620,000 to support CAIR’s civil rights and advocacy work on behalf of the American Muslim community. (Another dinner held by CAIR’s Southern California chapter (CAIR-LA) over the weekend raised more than $430,000. Some 1,800 people attended that event.)

Elected officials who spoke at the sold-out event included:
Representative- elect Ellison (D-MN)
Reps. Mike Honda (D-CA)
Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX)
Albert Wynn (D-MD).

Ellison and Jackson Lee offered their addresses by video.

Saqib Ali, who was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates (District 39) on November 7, was also in attendance.

Other speakers included Special Agent in Charge Joseph Persichini, Jr. of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Fairfax County Police Chief Col. David M. Rohrer and Amy Goodman of Democracy Now. Most members of CAIR’s national board also took part in the banquet, which was emceed by Julia Shearson of CAIR- Ohio’s Cleveland office.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Good grief! God help us!

I guess all those that gave to CAIR got a promise to be killed last. If left up to the Democrats it will be the Islamic States of America. Well they can try but they will never succeed!

Their speeches make me sick and furious!

I think Pres Bush made a big mistake by declaring it a War on Terror and not a War on Islamic Terror. Perhaps then we could have had a moratorium on immigration and visas for muslims. Instead, they seem to be allowed in at rates exceeding pre 9-11.

Bush, seemingly very shook up, used the term Islamofacists after the British recent revealing of plans to blow up airliners by muslims. Then Bush dropped the term in favor of the politically correct jargon of generic "terrorists" after groups such as CAIR did their whining routine.

This is not the way we will win this war. The enemy is here, is still coming here and our govt is betting on good intel, luck and political correctness to prevent more attacks.

Tom, yes I agree with you.
Besides my being anti-PC, it especially does not belong in a war or with our military. I pray all this stops with the catering to the media, the left and anti-war groups demands, and CAIR about this war.

It makes no sense at all to have our troops risking their lives fighting this war and then to be touchie feelie with how we label it and walk on egg shells not wanting to offend those that don't get it.

Minnesotans put the camel's nose under the tent with Ellison, I expected it from Michigan first and Michigan may very well be the first to put Moslems in office, they aren't as subtle as the Minnesota is about announcing it. This is to be expected from Bernie Sanders protegé and Congressional Progressive Caucus member Jackson-Lee. They're in charge and will sell us all out.

In WWII, we fought the Japanese, not the "Sneak Attackers" and the Germans, not the "Blitzkrieg".

To say were fighting a war on terror is to say were fighting the method the enemy is waging war, not the enemy itself. Terror is a method of fighting a war, not an enemy. We are at war with Islamic Terrorists, not with their methods of waging war.

Jack, yes they sure will sell us out. It is very scary to me what I see happening.

Bob you are so right. We really should, and I mean our media and our leaders, everyone should say it the way you put it.
