Carter Could Lead U.N. Investigation of Israel

Lillian, you should have stayed a virgin!

Carter Could Lead U.N. Investigation of Israel
The New York Sun

UNITED NATIONS

As Palestinian Arab rockets struck two Israeli towns yesterday, U.N. bodies prepared to launch no fewer than two overlapping "fact-finding" missions to second-guess Israel's anti-terrorist tactics.

President Carter could head one of those missions.

The U.N. General Assembly is expected to convene a special emergency session tomorrow to deal with the November 8 Israel Defense Force artillery strike on the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, which killed 19 civilians.

A draft resolution for the assembly session calls on the U.N. secretary-general to establish a fact-finding mission into the event and requests that he report back to the assembly in a month.

And yesterday in Geneva, the U.N. Human Rights Council, which in its five months of existence has failed to pass one resolution on any country other than Israel, concluded its third emergency session on the Jewish state.

In the session's resolution, the council called on its president, Ambassador Alfonso de Alba of Mexico, to establish a fact-finding mission to investigate the incident at Beit Hanoun.

A diplomat in Geneva who requested anonymity said the sponsors of the resolution are planning to ask Mr. Carter to head the investigation.

Wild Thing's comment.......

Carter? Mr. Anti Semite pro terror himself running things against Israel? Cripes- if that happens, Israel might just as well surrender now and give up all hope of being a nation ever again. AND we, as a nation had better prepare for God's wrath on us as well if we abandon support for Israel due to Carter's insistance.

Allowing Carter to investigate Israel is akin to getting Adolf Eichmann investigating the Holocaust.

Jimmy Carter, is a best friend to world tyrants. He has the approval of Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro (soon to be late), the late Yassar Arafat, the late Idi Admin DaDa, Robert Mugabee, Kim Jong II. There is no enemy of America that Carter won't coddle, no friend of America that Carter won't condemn.

We have this kind of nonsense to look forward to for the next 2 years. Jimmy Carter and McGovern, so far.

Good post. Carter's comments about how sincere the North Koreans were, made after his disasterous deal with them on nukes, has been forgotten--but if that nut actually blows something up, Carter will join the ranks of Neville Chamberlein in the history boks!

Carter is the dead end of ten generations of cousin-love in the Old South. He's a bigot, a liar (he had one no-credit course in Physics and he called himself a "nuclear physicist") and spent his time at The White House doing things like toilet paper requisitions while the hostages sat in Teheran.

His books about himself and the world reveal a man stupid, shallow, vicious and resentful of his betters...which is a pretty large field to resent.

I think we'll see less of this low-life, toadying crapweasal over the next two years, and even McGovern will slip back under his rock. The Donks can't afford it.

Electing Jimmy Carter President was as close as the American people have ever come to picking a name out of the phone book and giving him the job.

His 1980 re-election bid to Ronald Reagan should have proved his policies stunk, the electoral vote margin was 489 to 49.

Carter versus Reagan is proof positive that this country is conservative, Carter is the Clintons, he and McGovern are cut from the same cloth, just like the cheap suits that come form the Hong Kong tailors, single stitched and come apart when put under any kind of stress.

I was hoping for a Reagan victory, in 1980, so I was all set up to watch the returns, chips, had the Beer-Meister rolled into the den, my favorite Beer glass, When the announcement came at 8 PM Carter had conceded, No this can't be ...

The whuss couldn't even fight til all the polls had closed.

He is currently, and has been since he lost, trying to re-write his legacy. He undermines: American Foreign Policy, Coddles Dictators and Created the Party of Clinton and Kerry), Carter's worldview is consistent with what is called "the great liberal death wish.

This is the man who won the Nobel Peace Prize. If this is there standard, then BJ Clinton must be next in line for that shallow prize.

Tony your right, Carter has certainly been at the center of a lot of our problems.

Rhod, I agree. I heard they also want to get rid of Howard Dean.

Mark omg can you imagine. Clinton getting a Noble Peace Prize. augh how awful!

I rank Carter right up there with Clark Kissinger, Ramsey Clark, George McGovern and the Clintons, all Communist Anarchists who are bent on destroying this nation. We can thank Carter for doing nothing when Iran declared war on the US in 1977, giving away the Panama Canal and locking up our national resources in the interest of environmentalism. Another media made Democrat hero who did nothing but get's the highest praise.
Rhod's description best fits this idiot.

Carter continues damaging America. He is pure Liberal and an example, with his buddies from his failed administration, of how the Liberals hate what the heart of America really is. His One-World ideas are detrimental to the whole human race which he professes to love.

I need to add something to Tom's description of Carter as a liberal. Carter's hate is indiscriminate, I think. Somewhere in his little turd of a heart, he knows he's scum, and he's proud of it.

Before I say this, I need to say that I spent most of the 50's in the south, in the bad old days. I loved it there, and married two ladies from the region, at different times (heh) and the second is still around.

But among a class of people there, and it exists in northern New England, too, is a deranged kind of pride in being stupid, vulgar, arrogant, self-destructive and hateful, and they consider this a MARK OR SUPERIORITY. Now they make Redneck jokes about the type, which is unfair and wrong.

Rednecks are straightforward, and (I found) good-natured. Carter is the anti-Redneck. He's a piece of human garbage who knows he's crap, hasn't come to terms with it, and needs to soil everything better than he is.

Jack, one of our cousins switched from being a Dem to voting Republican because of Carter. Another one did the switch because of Clinton and another one did it when Kerry was running. I wish all of the Dems in Nick's family would do the same thing. He sure tries hard to tell them what the truth is but so many of his relatives want to believe the lies instead and they think Carter and Clinton are wonderful. They ask me stuff and I tell them too but then I also say, read my blog and learn something. haha They don't like that answer much.

Tom he sure is, I will have a toast on the day he no longer is around.
