Mostly Dead or Mostly Alive

Inigo: Hoo hoo hoo! Look who knows so much, heh? Well, it just so happens that your friend here is only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Please, open his mouth. Puts the bellows to Westley's mouth, and blows air in. Now, mostly dead is slightly alive. Now, all dead... well, with all dead, there's usually only one thing that you can do.

French paper says bin Laden died in Pakistan

PARIS, Sept 23 (Reuters) - A French regional newspaper quoted a French secret service report on Saturday as saying that Saudi Arabia is convinced that al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden died of typhoid in Pakistan last month.

L'Est Republicain printed what it said was a copy of the report dated Sept. 21 and said it was shown to President Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and France's interior and defence ministers on the same day.

"According to a usually reliable source, the Saudi services are now convinced that Osama bin Laden is dead," the document said.

"The information gathered by the Saudis indicates that the head of al Qaeda was a victim while he was in Pakistan on Aug. 23, 2006, of a very serious case of typhoid which led to a partial paralysis of his internal organs."

The report, which was stamped with a "confidential defence" label and the initials of the French secret service, said Saudi Arabia first heard the information on Sept. 4 and that it was waiting for more details before making an official announcement.

Officials contacted by Reuters in Chirac's and Villepin's offices had no immediate comment.

A senior official in Pakistan's interior ministry said: "We have no information about Osama's death."

Wild Thing's comment.....
Not sure if he is dead or not, but it sure is all over in the news. Put a mirror to his face and report back please.

You know, if this guy had universal health care and a four buck prescription from Wal-Mart, he'd still be alive. I blame George Bush for this.

...oh yeah. All Osama had to do was pick up another kidney at the Organs and Shaving Needs aisle.

Hahahahahaa

I was just imagining the whole thing. Osama and his gang of beheaders walking into a Wal-Mart. The place gets all quiet as people watch them, holding their noses of course from the stench of the cave dwellers. heh heh

Typhoid fever is awful, an awful way to die. Paralysis, unimaginable fever, convulsions. Too easy for this bastard, however. The guy was also a coward, according to some who witnessed his battlefield performance in Afghanistan.

I don't believe it. I want to,....but I don't. If in fact he did die, as they say, on August23rd, that would be GREAT!!!!!!! Because up until now August 23rd has been the anniversary of my marriage to my first ex wife. It would be nice to have fond memories of August 23rd,....for a change.

If this is true Cantwell, Murray and McDermott need to be put on suicide watch, on second thought, forget it. I don't trust the credibility of a single source reporting the event especially the French, I do want to believe it however. Wait until the Move on bunch get this, they'll blame in on Bush for knowing it all along and releasing it now for political gain at election time.

Rhod that sounds awful I didn't know anything about typhoid fever.
Thanks for the information.
I agree too it is a much too easy way for Osama to go.

OMG Billy that is absolutely hilarious!

ROTFLMAO

Posted by: Wild Thing at September 23, 2006 11:46 PM

Jack they probably will blame Bush, your right.

Posted by: Wild Thing at September 23, 2006 11:47 PM

I dont think it matters. Bin Laden is really just a political trophy at this point. He doesn't do any real leading. He is too isolated for that, in hideing. If he died, it would have no impact on terrorism at all.
