Ungrateful Arabs Want to Sue U.S. Government

Arab Group to Sue U.S. Government Over Lebanon Evacuation
DETROIT -- The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee says it will sue the U.S. Government, claiming that it failed to protect American citizens from the fighting in Lebanon.
The lawsuit, which was to be filed Monday on behalf of about 30 American citizens, alleges that Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld did not take all possible steps to secure the safety and well being of U.S. citizens when fighting erupted between Israel and Hezbollah guerillas.
The committee is asking the U.S. District Court in Detroit to order the American government to request a cease fire and to stop shipments of weapons or any other military support to Israel during the evacuation of U.S. citizens from Lebanon.
"We just feel the U.S. government has put its citizens at risk by supplying missiles when many U.S. citizens are still there," said Nabih Ayad, lawyer for committee and the citizens who were all in Lebanon. Ayad said a few included in the lawsuit are still trying to leave the country.
"We’re not trying to interfere with the war, we just want to protect our U.S. citizens and try to bring them back," Ayad said.
U.S. Consul William Gill said most Americans who wanted to leave Lebanon had done so by Sunday and U.S. evacuation efforts were nearly complete. He also urged anyone considering leaving to make up their minds quickly as fighting between Israel and Lebanon-based Hezbollah guerrillas showed no sign of waning.
About 12,000 Americans have been evacuated from Lebanon, officials said. Some 25,000 U.S. citizens were believed to be in Lebanon at the start of hostilities.

As I understand it, the State Dept. has issued 4 warnings in the last two years to U.S. citizens living/working in Lebanon. At one point, American airlines would not even fly into Lebananon. This is just from memory I have no link on this, but I do seem to remember this happening.
How about an extensive backround checks on these thirty "American citizens" and see what we find.
What a pile of bunk! They make up some lame brain excuse to whine and sue our country, these so called Americans, so they can say they want a cease fire.
These a$$ clowns should be sent back to the Middle East where their petty blather is hailed as high discourse.

Nabih Ayad from Dearborn Heights, Michigan and his partner Mohammed Abdrabboh run an immigration practice, both are ACLU lawyers. Mohammed Abdrabboh, is a Palestinian attorney and ACLU of Michigan Board Member. Both Abdrabboh and Ayad go on annual trips to the Middle East with Imad Hamad , trips that involve meetings with Lebanese and Syrian officials tied to Hezbollah, and their travel-mates include officials of a Detroit charity that openly donated millions to HAMAS and privately raised money for Iraqi insurgents at a Los Angeles area fundraiser. Ayad represented Omar Abdel-Fatah Al-Shishani, stopped at Detroit Metro Airport with millions in phony bank checks used to fund Al-Qaeda operations, Shishani- is a friend of John Kerry. One of Ayad's former clients, Mahmoud Youssef Kourani, was sentenced in June 2005 to 4 1/2 years in prison for raising money for Hizballah inside his Dearborn home. Kourani, 35, is one of two people the U.S. Department of Justice has convicted for financing Hizballah, a federal crime.
Born in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, Imad Hamad was a suspected member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Communist faction of Palestinian terrorism responsible for countless homicide bombings and the October 2001 assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Zeevi.
The INS was so opposed to Hamad’s presence in the United States that it fought to deport him for over two decades. But, under political pressure from Michigan politicians, like Senator Carl Levin and Rep. David Bonior, the immigration judge chose to disregard classified evidence, and he is now a U.S. citizen. (Hamad’s lawyer, Noel Saleh, proudly proclaimed that he - Saleh - financially supported Hezbollah.)
Imad Hamad was nominated for an award by Detroit FBI Special Agent in Charge Willie Hulon, the FBI Director Robert Mueller was equating Hamad with a heroic murdered flight attendant, Madeline Sweeney murdered aboard Flight 11, which hit the World Trade Center’s North Tower on 9/11 who acted bravely in the face of terrorists. Madeline Sweeney was about to be honored along with a man who supports terrorism and was himself a suspected terrorist. Imad Hamad did not receive the award but this show just how F**ked up Michigan and the FBI are. Hamad has opposed virtually every arrest, indictment and conviction of Islamic terrorists.
Since then, as Midwest Regional Director of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC), Imad Hamad has been busy promoting the terrorist cause—doing interviews throughout the Detroit media supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic hate. Imad Hamad nominated Nabih Ayad to the ACLU. You can thank the ACLU for this.

(shaking my head) it makes my stomach feel sick and Carl Levin and Boner to disregard classified evidence like that. Oh man oh man this world, our world, America what will ever be done about all of this crap. I used to say how do people that allow this sleep at night, then I realized they sleep very well, they have no conscience at all, not true love for America e3ither or they would stop it when they can.
Thanks again Jack, I want to know all we can about these things, even if it does make me sick and angry.
