Harry Reid Wants Criminals To Become Citizens

Senate Democrats have successfully blocked an amendment to the immigration bill now under consideration that would have prevented aliens convicted of felonies from becoming citizens:

Democrats said the amendment would "gut" the immigration bill under consideration in the Senate and refused to allow a vote on it.

So now the Democrats are using the filibuster to protect the "right" of convicted felons who have emigrated to the U.S. illegally to become citizens.

"I do not have to explain in any more detail than what I have as why I don't want to move forward," Mr. Reid said. "I don't agree with the amendment. I don't think it's going to benefit this legislation that is pending before the Senate and I'm going to do what I can to prevent a vote on it."

Later, Mr. Reid added:

"We're not going to allow amendments like Kyl-Cornyn to take out what we believe is the goodness of this bill."

Wild Thing's comment......

Harry you HAVE lost your freaken mind! AGAIN! It is pathetic that our leaders have never had the cojones to enforce existing immigration laws. Politicians love to talk the talk, but our politicians do not know how to walk the walk. Damn the politicians, for giving this nation and this nations money to illegal invaders.

And once again where is even their conversation about securing our borders! Helloooo !

My wife and I pay our taxes...lots and lots of taxes. We go to church and we love our country...we vote every election. Why won't they listen to us?

Most of these nimrods that call for us to go home and claim that they are are home are ignorant of history and their genealogy. How many of these idiots can claim to be descendents of the Aztecs, Mayans, Toltecs, etc. Very, very, very few.

Raz0r, your right. Their too stupid to realize that their ancestors came from Spain and Portugal…Europe. If their Aztec, they belong in the lower part of Mexico and points south.

If it wasn’t for the Europeans coming here, those that the are Aztecs, Mayans, Toltecs, etc would still be eating each other and having human sacrifices.

I have often used the old adage that "possession is nine tenths of the law". Our ancestors took this land and made it what it is today--mostly good and now it is up to us to hold it. But it appears that the dim-a-crits are not only NOT going to fight to keep it they along with the gotdam RINOS are trying to give it back. REMEMBER THE ALAMO

Right, Bob. But another thing these idiots don't choose to recall is that one of the most hideous, brutal and wicked conquests of all was the Spanish rape of areas of South America. The deaths due to outright slaughter and imported diseases, not counting the theft of gold and other prizes, accounted for the end of the native populations these morons claim as their descendants.

The European settlement of North America was almost kind by comparison. In any case, what exists now was not created by the illegals or any of their ancestors. They own none of it and are entitled to nothing except a quick kiss in the ass back across the border.

Sierrahome I know what you mean. I will never understand why our laws we have had for years do not apply when it comes to these people.

Hi Rhod well said and thanks for commenting on this.

Interesting point Rhod. Central and South American has all the recourses that North America has; precious metals, oil, and better climate, etc. For some reason the people there couldn’t do anything with it. They live in squalor and they only way their recourses get developed is when foreigners come in and do it. They have no drive or ambition to sacrifice what is necessary to develop their own countries.

Now, these people want to come to the United States and make money and live a good life. They are unwilling to do what it takes to succeed in their homelands so their coming here to enjoy what others have already sacrificed for and created.

The illegals are reminding me of the Palestinians. They don’t want to do anything for themselves in creating jobs and infrastructure. They want what the Jews have already created; cities, infrastructure, etc. They are unwilling to sacrifice what is necessary to create a society which can support themselves.

So many of these kids know no history, it is hardly taught anymore. And, a large number of these Hispanic kids drop out of school. So they get their history from activists and agitators.

The statements here about the history of the Europeans and indios, the natural resource wealth of Latin America, the corruption of Latino governments and the dishonesty AND cowardice of our elected leaders is correct. I wonder how much of each tax $ is spent on illegals??

And that picture of the signs really ticks me off, bet there are Mexican flags nearby.

All,

Intersting statement about these kids not knowing their own history. They are being spoon fed garbage by activists. The history of Texas is an example of why Mexico lost it's northern territories.

If one can spend some time reading the entire article, it will be worth it.
