What About The Laws We Already Have?!

Wild Thing's comment.....

Call me stupid but I just don't get this. We already have laws pertaining to entry to this country. My grandparents came in the legal way. I have met others that came to America even 20 years ago, flying to America holding their chest X-Rays and proof of not having TB etc. One of my friends that came her from Glasgow, Scotland came here exactly like that. She has been here for over 20 years and loves it. She came in legally fer' shame on her. sheesh.

If we say we need them because they do yard work etc. Then why here in Sarasota do we have tons of non Mexican's that are doing yard work. Most of the ones doing landscaping and yard work where I live are men in their 20's and 30's some that are back from serving our country and trying to start their own business. The man we have is fantastic, a hard worker and a Veteran. He is 32 years old and has 4 other men working for him. This fine gentleman would never get a chance if his new business had to fight so many illegals' if they existed in our city. Competition is a good thing and when it is done among those that are legal then great, but to be overrun by sarcastic, illegals' with bad attitudes of YOU better speak Spanish or else ......give me a break!

Bottom line this administration's immigration policy is a disaster.

No fooling, here's a thought that my sister in law sent me.

First, Go To Mexico . . .

If you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime, TRY THIS.

Enter Mexico illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense.

Once there, demand that the local Mexican government provide free medical care for you and your entire family.

Demand bilingual nurses and doctors. Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc.

Procreate abundantly. Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with, "It is a cultural thing. You would not understand."

Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop, or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.

Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise. Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.

Demand a local Mexican driver's license. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Mexico.

Drive around with no liability insurance and ignore local traffic laws.

Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its officers.

Good luck!

You'll be demanding for the rest of time or soon be dead.

It will not happen in Mexico or any other country in the world EXCEPT right here in the United States . . . land of the naive and bleeding hearts!

If you agree, pass it on. If you don't, go ahead and try the above in Mexico.

I think it is too late to close this floodgate. In another ten years I visualize an American Civil War(or big gang war) between Hispanics and Muslims. Honest, brave political leadership could have prevented this. We have been ill-served by our leaders, both Republican and Dimocrap.

Tom absolutely right! Both sides have kissed up to this thing.

TomR, I believe you may be right. That's why I'm a strong believer in the following:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”

Tom just nailed the problem. We're in a period of enormous change across the globe (in areas we can't even see right now) and it's happening against a backdrop of gutless leadership and a failure of will in the political classes. We have soft anarchy today masquerading as liberal (old sense)democracy, both here and abroad.

Historically, the convergence of national spinelessness with rapid and dangerous change usually ends in a bloodbath of some kind, particularly where external threats are added to the mix.

I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that, where neither party has an answer, neither party is even looking for one...nor do they have thinkers capable of imagining a future immeasurably worse than the present.

The Husband supports Bush's cockamamie immgration plan-but I don't.
My late paternal grandfather came to the US from Chernigov Ukraine-then part of Lithuania(the Jewish "Pale of Settlement")-as a three year old in 1914. He came along with his mother and sister. His father came over about two years earlier. They all came here LEGALLY.
My mother's paternal grandfather came to England from Lodz Poland as an infant. He fell in love with an English publican's grand-daughter She converted they wed and had a son in 1906.
In 1907 "Pop" left for the US and ended up at Ellis Island-all legal.
A year later my great-grandmother and great uncle boarded the Lusitania(Yes, THAT Lusitania) for Ellis Island. My late great aunt and grandfather were born in Pittsburgh. LEGAL!!
BTW-my eastern european relatives spoke english as a second language BEFOE THEY GOT ON THE BOAT!!!

My husband and ex-husband's families all came here legally.

Maybe it's my lack of education showing but I don't get it.
Why is what was good enough for my family not good enough for our current crop of "gate-crashers."
My husband-certainly no lefty-says that these are different times and that the US NEEDS a guest worker program.
Fine. What the US DOESN'T need is to reward those who think that the law doesn't apply to them!!!
COME HERE LEGALLY. LEARN ENGLISH. ASSIMILATE.
Not interested. GET THE FUCK OUT!

HI ALT thank you for commenting. It is not a lack of education on your part at all. Barb one has to listen to their gut feeling on things and that does not come with a degree it comes from insight and experience and living.

I lived in California for 30 years ( before moving to Florida 2+ years ago)and saw enough to last me a lifetime of special treatment, illegals being catered to etc. Once we voted for I think it was called 187 and it passed almost 100 percent. Then the liberals did not like it so they took it to court and a liberal judge turned it over. It was as though non of us ever voted at all. That was a real eye opener for me and a shock as well.

The arrogance that encompasses those coming in illegally is appalling and sickening. It is very true that they say things like they are taking back their country. Not every single one of them but enough to make it alarming.

The thing is to give in to them in anyway does not make them grateful, it only makes them stronger in knowing we are weak.

Like Tom said above, political leadership if it had been strong on this would have nipped it in the bud ( my words) but that did not happen and now it is too late.

Thank you again for commenting.
