Reids Treasonous Illegal Anti-American Plan

......

Harry Reid has put a political game plan in place but wants to call them town hall meetings so that it gives the appearance that they are not breaking the law.

Senate Democrats have mapped a political battle plan for the March congressional recess that calls on lawmakers to stage press events with active duty military personnel, veterans and emergency responders to bash President Bush on virtually every one of his national security policies.

The game plan, devised by the office of Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, is contained in a six-page memo distributed to Democratic senators on Thursday at a closed-door meeting at the Capitol and provided to The Washington Times by a congressional staffer.

Titled "Real Security," the political document calls for staged town hall events at military bases, weapons factories, National Guard units, fire stations and veterans posts. "Ensure that you have the proper U.S. and state flags at the event, and consider finding someone to sing the national anthem and lead the group in the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the event," the battle plan states.

And the Democratic memo calls on senators to seek the help of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), which is critical of Mr. Bush.

However, the Defense Department prohibits political events on military bases.

The rule states:

"commanders will not permit the use of installation facilities by any candidate for political campaign or election events, including public assemblies or town hall meetings. ..."

Could Reid cross the line anymore then he has with this? He keeps getting away with his treason, his anti-American activities and his loathing of our military. How about using Harry Reid as a test case to see how various forms of torture effect the human body till....well you know what I mean.
And what the hell is that about....be sure to bring the proper US Flag. Don't they know what the US Flag looks like? Sheesh!

BIG DOG has written an excellent write up on this! ......HERE

It's the Hatch Act. My understanding is that as long as these events are not held on any military
property and any active duty personnel attending are NOT in uniform then I don't believe any laws have been broken. When I was stationed at a navy radio station in Annapolis MD a dippy Chief jumped on me one day. Told me my bumper sticker that only had VOTE on it was a violation of the Hatch Act. Since I knew all about it I told him he was wrong and he had enough sense to drop the matter.

I suggest putting Harry and I in a room by our selves and me kicking his ass till his spine caves in. This bastard is worse than the midget was.I think him and his sons are under investigation now about someting. wish some indictments would come down on them.

What Jane Fonda and John Kerry were to the Viet Cong, Harry Reid and the Democrat Party are to the Islamist Terrorists. All these people did/do is give them hope that if they hang on, wait it out, they will prevail.

Democraps = deceit, deception and desperation.

Do the democraps really think they will be accepted and believed on military bases? Maybe a few individual military will support these clowns, but most GIs will probably be highly pissed.

I sure hope the democraps keep Howard and Reid as leaders-Weapons of Assured Self Destruction

I believe we should never forget the Wellstone memorial...These reptiles can't show up in the light without shedding their skin. It'll be an ugly show and we would all be the worse for it but liberals would find themselves still on the rocks with most of America and still only playing to the wacko base they richly deserve.

I seriously doubt there is but just in case there
is the slightest misunderstanding of my comment above. I despise this scum bag Reid along with the rest of his traitorous pals with every fiber of my being. It really scares me that the idiot R's may
very well get their clocks cleaned by the D's in Nov. and then again in '08. They have the greatest ability to turn victory into defeat. You think things are bad now with the party of the enemy!

I think that the memo say's it all. First these people have to be reminded to bring the appropriate flags-American and State. Then the admonition to say the Pledge. This points to a group of people out of touch and opposed to the majority of Americans.

That's the thing about eletions. Because vote turnout is so low no one can claim a mandate. If middle America voted their would be no Democratic Party.

WT, Thanks for the link!
SparkS, no doubt about where you stand. You are correct with regard to how the Act applies to individuals. Bumper stickers etc so long as no active campaigning.

Reid's plan calls for use of NG armories etc and this is forbidden. The troops do not have to be Active, any troop including those of the reserve components are not allowed to be used as props.

This includes prohibition of press, requests for pictures on military installations or in front of military items. No military bands, units, facilities. Reid wants to try and have town hall meetings to "discuss" items that affect the NG and then use that in the campaign. This is against the law and we should all watch for those activities. Show up and question the legality, that is always fun.
