How To Tell Democrats From Terrorists

Today someone made a comment made to this post I did on December 19, 2005. Yes all the way back to Dec., this person decided commented to an old post. haha That happens often and I usually let it go. This time I thought I would bring it up to the top again.

Outstanding post Wild Thing. Every one of those eight is a Masterpiece of Depravity.

Thing is, all eight of them know what needs to be done and why were in Iraq but they don’t care. They want to be back in power so bad they don’t care how many Americans or Iraqi’s die in the process.

Posted by: BobF at December 19, 2005 08:16 AM

Hi Bob, you are exactly right. Thank you so much for your comments.

Posted by: Wild Thing at December 19, 2005 09:17 AM

Classic. Another thing they have in common: they will both lose. Great post.

Posted by: AbbaGav at December 19, 2005 09:45 AM

Hi AbbaGav, thank you so much.
You are right they will both loose.

Dimocraps are more dangerous. They destroy from the inside out, like a cancer. And they have large armies of foolish, selfish voters supporting their dishonesty.
And, darn it, we cannot shoot dimocraps on sight.

Hi Tom, I wish we could. I know that sounds awful, but I really hate democrats. At least if we could have a showdown like on a western street like in the movies. Fastest draw wins. hahaha Like in the movies, fastest, most accurate draw wins. hahaha

You failed to mention this Terror operation.

You nailed it, Thing. Today I proudly blogrolled you. Keep up the great work.

To MY Pet Gloat, I will respond to you by saying this. I am proud of Oliver North and all he did. I am also very proud of Ronald Reagan! Reagan was the greatest Persident this country has had in my life time.

WoW Nickie, thank you soooo much!!

Also saw it at Linda's.

HI Delftsman, thank you so much. Nice to meet you.

Posted by: Wild Thing at December 20, 2005 09:59 PM

democrats are people, each of them think differently. republicans are people too, who each think differently. if this country wasnt so hung up on differentiating and hating each other because of labels, i think that underneath it all they would all find out that they are all humans who care about their fellow man (thus making them political and of opinion). democrats are your mothers, your cousins, your uncles. your family. so are republicans. you would disown and want to kill your own flesh and blood? you are not republicans, you are egotistical self-centered hateful people. well, to sum it up, youre just very insecure people.
did you know that AMERICANS consist of both republicans and democrats and what makes this country so beautiful is the fact that we have that choice and freedom to think and feel differently about politics. how can you be so omnipotent to claim there should only be one way of thinking? i sense blasphemy. i believe you all need to grow a whole heck of a lot inside. but of course, that is my opinion, and i am american so i have the right to free that speech.

Posted by: marmolade at December 23, 2005 02:15 PM

...."and i am american so i have the right to free that speech.".......

Let's start there ok. The only reason you have freedom of speech is because of our Military fighting in wars to keep communisim etc. from ruling this country from other lands. There are many countries that if you lived there you would not have freedom of speech.

You say Democrats are people too. Well duh sure they are. But the difference is that the Democrats not the Republicans are the ones holding up signs protesting this war, holding up signs to kill the officers of our service men and women, holding up signs that are not supporting our troops.

I could go on and on about the difference in Republicans and Democrats, but the bottom line is this............ Democrats are the enemy of America, the enemy within! Republicans are not. And I would say that to any family memember that was a Democrat including my mother if she had been a Democrat.

IMO since you are mentioning how we have freedom of speech, I will add this. Democrats do not deserve to live in the USA after the way they have behaved ............ toward our troops, toward wanting a touchie feeling handling of terrorists instead of wanting to go after them, their twisting the facts about how the war is going, not wanting the Patriot Act which helps to stop terrorists attacks and thousands of other reasons. As far as I am concerned we can send the Democrats to Gitmo!

Posted by: Wild Thing at December 23, 2005 08:21 PM

In case anybody missed the lack of intelligence on the comment from marmolade, get a clue. Do you know what omnipotent means? Please re-read what you posted, you show your ignorance. Second, if you want to see seething hate, watch a liberal, period. Yes, we republicans out here are angry and we have a right to be. We are tired of dems and liberals trying to make political headway with our security. I take that very seriously as anyone who doesn't have their head up their a@# on a regular basis. If anyone needs to grow (or to be educated) that would be you, marmalade. By the way, the definition of omnipotent is: having unlimited power or authority. No one here has unlimited power and authority, now do they. Please do us all a favor and get educated.

Tracy excellent! Well said! Thank you for your comment.

Posted by: Wild Thing at December 27, 2005 06:51 AM

So, let’s bust up this little party, shall we?

1. Want American troops out of Iraq.
Quite true, but very different reasons. Liberals want American troops out of Iraq because we actually care how and why our military is used. Putting American lives in harm’s way should be the last resort when all other measures have failed against an enemy intent on destroying us. Such was not the case with Iraq.

2. Hate George W. Bush.
This is another blanket statement which has no basis in reality. Liberals don’t hate Bush, but they certainly hate what he done to this country. I don’t believe terrorists hate Bush either for the simple fact that Bush’s fumbling attempts at foreign policy have driven more people to radical extremism than has turned away from it.

3. Claiming American troops are killing and harassing innocent women and children in Iraq.
The claim is true, yet which terrorists have made it? Liberals have certainly said as much and evidence to back it up. Blind defenders of American military action, however, will say that any innocents who are killed are at fault because they were simply in our way.

4. Claim American troops are an occupying force.
This is a disingenuous statement and logical fallacy because it is twisting the meaning of the word “occupying”. The premise is that if liberals or terrorists said it, then it must be a bad thing, right? The fact is quite different. America IS occupying Iraq right now in nearly every sense of the word.

5. Claim the war in Iraq is all about oil.
While oil has factored into this issue in a major way (record oil company profits, as an example), neither terrorists nor liberals would be so simplistic in the assessment of the situation.

6. Claim that Bush lied to get Congress to go to war with Saddam.
Another disingenuous statement. Since when have terrorists been concerned with the methods and inner workings of American politics? It’s doubtful our political processes are even that well understood by outsiders, much less what it took to authorize military action.
However, liberals have made the solid case that Bush did, in fact, to Congress. Whether it was a lie of omission or commission, Bush willfully kept back information which denied his conclusions even as he asserted shakier evidence as factual.

7. Claim that America is losing the war in Iraq.
Terrorists may claim America is losing the war. Liberals with cable news and Internet access know it’s already lost.

8. Claim that Bush rushed into war, and fail to notice the year of delay while gathering numerous UN and Congressional resolutions and authorizations.
This is another disingenuous claim as we are once again being told that terrorists make such statements about American politics. The simple fact of the matter is that Bush had his mind to go to war with Iraq long before he actually told the American people. When he failed to get the support of the rest of the world, he acted unilaterally and successfully destabilized the country to the point it is now collapsing into civil war.

"Nevertheless, for millions of people,...they rightly hate George Bush" http://www.socialistworker.org

3. Claiming American troops are killing and harassing innocent women and children in Iraq.
what about .. "The movie is a hit in Turkey as well, with more than 3 million viewers seeing “Valley of the Wolves – Iraq” since it was released 15 days ago."

#5. As Michael Renner has written in Foreign Policy in Focus, February 14, 2003, "Washington's War on Iraq is the Lynchpin to Controlling Persian Gulf Oil."

which only goes to prove that liberals are too dumb to remember what they used to believe.

Ragle:

Ohhh, Brian is busting up the little party. Try composing an argument, pinhead. You're the literary equivalent of a heckler.

The answer to Number One begins with "so what?" Moral posturing isn't defense policy, and the comingling of factoids with emotion and debatable propostions (the "case of Iraq) prove absolutely nothing except how self-regarding you are.

The answer to Number two is that your claims are so ludicrous one wonders if you're sane.

The answer to Number Three requires me to unwind too many fatuities. For now. I'm charmed by your last sentence. This, for you, counts as "evidence" of something.

The answer to Number Four? Your expertise with logical fallacies is already on display; although you need to elaborate on your claims about our occupation. Sorry, pinwheel, but yammering isn't exposition or explanation.

The answer to Number Five is equally difficult, because neither you NOR I understand what your saying. Give it a try. What's the reason for our occupation? The dark mystery wrapped around your ignorance is provocative. I want to know the answers.

The answer to Number Six is a task almost beyond comprehension. Ignoring permanently your silly claim about Bush's "disingenuous" conduct (you really need a new word, Brian), your incomprehensible conclusion that terrorists at the top are ignorant of Western culture and political systems is...well, incomprehensible. They are, if anything, experts on it, and are adapting in ways you would be fatally unable to appreciate.

The answer to Number Seven is simply that your wish fulfillment and delusion permeates all your points, but this is the most reprehensible of all. I suppose I would be interested in knowing how Maximum Supremo Field Marshall Ragle has figure out that the war is lost, but defeatism, pacifism, cynicism and cowardice are of no interest to me.

The answer to Number Eight is predictably difficult, because your claims are a thick stew of delusion, pop-psych and an intellectual density so hard that it's impossible to penetrate. Just for laughs, the country is not descending into your much-desired civil war. Moreover, what is your defintion of "unilateral"? This should be fun.

MyPetGloat is a gas. Notice how clever and ironic he was. Cleverness and Irony are the two indispensable qualities to Leftieis, since they lack so much in every other area.

Personally, I think that selling outdated weapons to an enemy to raise money to support friends was a stroke of genius.

Posted by: Rhod at February 25, 2006 11:27 AM

Ragle:

I've been thinking this over, and perhaps I was too hard on you. I re-read everything you said, and even if I find a strange, mechanistic defect in the "liberal" case you've made, I understand that so much of liberalism is like a tableau in a natural history museum.

Everything is static, posed, arranged and nothing changes except the dust that settles on the figures. The building could burn down around the display, and reconfigure EVERYTHING down the last molecule, but as long as one liberal remembers the scene, it lives forever in the eternal present. Nothing changes. No matter how old the reality, it is indisoluble, static, like outhouses and witch-burnings and your case against the Iraq War.

Your rather startling claim that you have cable news and Internet access...my GOD, aren't you on the cutting edge! proves at least that you haven't availed yourself of anything but Move-On, and Daily Kos.

I'm tempted to ask you what your opinion is of the Realist School of international relations, how it compares to The Bush Doctrine, and what the alternatives to the events of 1974 through 2001 could have been. But no matter. You wouldn't know.

My hunch is that the Neanderthals thought that sloping foreheads, crude physiognamy and smaller brains held a competitive advantage over the Cro Magnons, too, just like the petrified liberals of today, who think that they have the answers to all the questions unanswered forty years ago.

But......but......Ragel you never mentioned how good I made the dems look in the fire and brinstone skul graphic. LOL

And lookie how I pointed out the one difference between you Democrats and the terrorists, in the last graphic in my post. heh heh

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 25, 2006 12:25 PM

It's refreshing to see that Ann Coulter has so many disciples. I was almost afraid rhetoric of her kind was going to fall by the wayside and Conservatives as a whole would no longer be made to look so infantile by the words of a few. I am assured this will not be the case.

What's most striking about the passionate and vitriolic responses to my comment is that they all comment the same logical fallacy: an ad hominem attack on the person instead of what is being said. This not only shows an intellectual deficit on the part of those responding in such a manner, but also a deep seated fear of being exposed for baseless hyperbole they are responsible in spreading.

The simple fact of the matter is this: blanketing all liberals with comparisons to terrorism is akin to a propaganda campaign of which Hermann Goerring would have been proud.

Further still, evidence in the way of polls and public responses to these types of attacks show that the country is shifting overwhelmingly away from the far right wing attack politics rhetoric being espoused here.

In short, you don't have a leg to stand on and it kills you that liberals proudly wear the title of "elite" and "intellectual" in comparison to your own Dick Cheney's warning that too much education would make you vote Democrat.

Well done Rhod, your foe obviously prefers Dhimmitude and 'Democracy' over the virtues of a Republican form of government, just like the Cro-Magnons. WT, I love that graphic and that last statement, which is truer now than it was in the original post.

Ragle:

It never, never fails. Prick a liberal where it hurts, in his vanity, and his reponse is always a sustained lament, a full blown siege of wounded pride, and a bout of martyrdom with the secondary infection of snooty arrogance. Along with it you'll almost certainly find references to Ann Coulter, and the indispensable nod to Nazi propagandists and finally, the proud, full-plumage liberal defending his elitisim and dismissing everyone else as stupid.

Ragle, you aren't a steretype, you're a cartoon.

In a lefty's armory of complaints, Ragle, is alway...repeat, ALWAYS, the sniffling charge of "ad hominem" accusations. What does it mean? If the definition is "pertaining to a person's feelings rather than his intellect", it would be hard, if not impossible to see YOUR Eight Pillars of Wisdom in any other way.

Read it yourself. The tides of your opinion are filled with personal pronouns; they're everywhere, and where you choose to defend liberals (which is everywhere), you are defending the opinions of a certain class of homo sapiens.

You, of course, like all lefties, choose to be evaluated on content, even when there IS no content. Come back when you have something to say.

It's amazing how people like Rhod will freely acknowledge how like the Nazis they sound even as they dismiss it with a wave of their hands, as if that makes it go away.

The simple truth is that it is not going away. The lack of rational debate on political topics can be traced to the kind of vituperative and baseless rhetoric Rhod and his/her fellow ilk embody. They are of the same mind as Streicher's "Poisonous Mushroom" and they advocate essentially the same thing: the demonization of an entire ideology for the purpose of marginalizing it and portraying it as evil to the rest of the country.

What they ignore, of course, is the mainstream of America which does not cling to such extreme ideas about one party or another and which vote their consciences as well as the next person. In effect, Rhod is attacking them as well by trying to think for them, trying to be a Big Brother and get their minds straight.

It's sad, really, to see such a display. It is a reminder of why those of us who actually study and enjoy the history of our country are sadly shaking our heads at how far we have come from the original ideals of our founders to the point of villifying an opposing faction and issuing blanket statements to encompass an equal segment of society.

Ragle:

The purpose of my hard posts to you was the same purpose I bring to everyone like one...on every blog I've found folks like you. I do it to smoke you out, to pull the mask off. It isn't rocket science, and it works every time. Being an intellectual, you certainly know the aphorism about whom the Gods would destroy....or do you? I doubt it.

Whatever subject you're ranting about at the moment, Ragle, whatever the subject of your current screed, what lies behind is always scorn, arrogance, hypocrisy, ignorance and, usually, stupidity. Everything is strained fine and filtered by character failings, spite and nastiness. What I do is help you get it out in the open. I'm an enabler for people like you.

All of you arrive with the same ideas, the same superstitions, the same junkyard of stereotypes and the same impenetrable sense of your own personal importance and the silly conceits you call ideas. The subject matter, whatever it is, is just a gilly suit you wear to fool people with whom you disagree.

Your obtuse reference to Streicher's "Poisonous Mushroom" suggest you have at least a community college liberal arts familiarity with things a better mind and education would have refined. Is this all you have? Had you been smarter and more able as a contestant, you could have analyzed your OWN POSTS and seen the logical fallacies, the unproven and unprovable points, the poisonous mixture of opinion, emotion and condemnation. As a self-described intellectual, you should know that you rate very high on the F-Scale. Confused? I thought so.

I would almost certainly have argued issues and debated points of topic if you had any. You see, the difference between you and me is not moral or political; it's that issues matter to me, the truth matters to me, being on my feet rather than on my knees matters, and I'm not wounded by the scorn, the insults, the wagging finger of the lesser man. Your reaction to dispute is to raise another flimsy little barrier to protect your ego rather than defend the facts.

This is a lesson conservative men and women learn early in the life, and why liberalism is inadaptable and facing extinction. It's parasitic, weak and ultimtely pointless because it is always, and forever, SUBJECTIVE, with no references in the factual world. Have someone help you understand what I just said. You might learn something.

Brain, people like Rhod?
Excuse me is that like a " you people" kind of thing.
Just an FYI, you can count me in on that 100% as the "people like you". I wouldn't be one of your group for anything in the world.

Read what Rhod says, he is being very patient with you Brian. And you can learn a lot from him.

Posted by: Wild Thing at February 26, 2006 10:15 AM

...and Brian, with no intention of being unkind, your writing ability is, well, a rhetorical pile-up. It matters because writing is an expression of thinking, and good usage is an expression of good reasoning. Clarity, clarity, clarity, Brian.

It will help on your own blog.

Your last post, first paragraph. I'm still trying to figure out what the "amazing" part is, and why people like me are freely acknowledging that we sound like Nazis but we're all dismissing it with one wave of all our hands. Beautiful prose, Brian. Beautiful. Maybe we Nazis are just saying "hello".

First sentence, second paragraph. WHAT is "not going away"? Your silliness? Onward. Vituperative and baseless rhetoric can not be embodied. Onward. Who's "they"?. Onward. Double statement, no thought. Onward, and this is a tough one. The active verb here might be "to advocate", but the conclusion is that the thing "advocated" is being DONE! Brian, go to your Webster's.

Apologies to Wild Thing for getting into this....but, Brian, this stuff from you just goes on and on and on and on. Perhaps you're a product of some inner-city report-card mill where feeling good was more important than "thinkin' good". The most horrifying part of this is that you claim to be an "intellectual".
